LOVE ME AGAIN [KTH•FF]

CHAPTER XXVIII

Your heart pounded in your chest as your father held a knife to your neck, demanding that you should sign the property papers. Fear consumed you,  as you felt trapped, unsure of how to escape this dangerous situation. Just as you thought all hope was lost, a sudden knock on the door shattered the tense atmosphere.

 I can't believe he would do this to me...  you whispered to yourself as he tightened his hold on you making a deep cut on your neck,

Alarmingly, the front door bursts open and Taehyung rushes into the room with two police officers.  His widened in horror as he witnessed the scene unfolding before him.

You saw him with widened eyes as relief washed over you.

Let her go, Mr. Min! What you're doing is illegal, he firmly stated looking at him with a glare.

Who do you think you are, interfering with my family matters?  Mr. Min said looking at Taehyung.

Taehyung quickly assessed the situation and rushed to Y/n's side pulling her into his protective embrace.

We received a distress call. We have reason to believe you were physically threatening Y/n. We're here to ensure her safety. The police officer intervened  cutting off Mr.min.

He glared at them realizing that his plan has failed. You think you can stop me I'll find another way to get what's rightfully mine. 

Sir, resisting arrest will only make things worse. I suggest you cooperate.  The other officer said and held Mr.Min.  

The police officers swiftly apprehended your father, placing him in handcuffs.

Are you okay love, did he hurt you he asked gently but you were not responding to him instead you were looking at your so called father. You couldn't help but feel a mix of relief and sadness.

The man, her so called father who was supposed to protect her become her greatest threat.

With tears streaming down your face you turned towards Taehyung, grateful for his unwavering support.

Thankyou for saving me Tae, I don't know what I would do without you.

Taehyung held you even tighter,  his voice filled with love and reassurance.

I'll always support you Y/n, we'll get through this together. I won't let anything happen to you.

After a while you parted away from him as he gently cupped your cheeks giving a small peck on your forehead.

I'll just go in our room you said and left. Taehyung knew it must be hard for you, he didn't wanted to leave you alone so he silently followed you.

Your heart raced as you sat on the bed, replaying the event that happened a while ago. Your father faced contorted in anger, his eyes filled with a darkness you had never seen before. The knife pressed against your neck,  a chilling reminder of the danger you had just narrowly escaped.

Minutes later Taehyung burst through the door,  his eyes filled with worry. He rushed to your side and embraced you in his tight embrace.

I'm here Y/n he said, tear streamed down your face as you clung to him tighter. He gently wiped away your tears.

I'll always be here for you. no matter what happens I'll protect you. You're not alone he said his voice filled with determination.

My dad... he attacked me, Tae. I didn't see it coming. He was so angry, yelling at me for no reason, and then he just... he just lost control, you said as your voice trembled.

I'm so sorry you had to go through that. He said as you shook your head in no.

 I try to remind myself of that, but it's hard. I keep replaying that moment in my mind over and over again, wondering if I could have done something differently, if I could have prevented it somehow.
