Alpha Liam's POV

I stomped to my room, fell right on the bed and stared at my ceiling , I couldn't think straight, Leon blocked me ever since I saw our mate and told him about the impression she had on me, I wouldn't lie I fell for the girl's charm , she really is pretty, but still she's a fucking Witch, and was rumoured to have powers to steal people's youthfulness, now that isn't what I can accept,
"As u said, it's a rumour, it might not be true" Leon butts in and blocked me immediately again.
" Come on man ,you still angry with me??" I tried talking to him but he didn't even listen to me,
I sighed.
Her scent is still all over me and honestly it's soothing , I sniffed the air and noticed her scent is fading, Did she leave??,
She can't right??
I quickly went back to the ballroom, I couldn't find her, I don't know why but I immediately felt lonely

" Stupid mate bond" I thought

I searched and searched but couldn't find her
Then I saw something shiny on the floor, it looks like the purse she carried, I picked it up, checked inside
I found some chocolate bars, " fan of chocolate huh" I smirked, "you're smiling huh" my subconscious mind teases
I cleared my head " nope , why would I smile"
"U like her already" Leon said
" Nope, I don't , it's just weird for her to behave so girlish with all the rumours" I defended myself

I checked the remaining things, I saw a small book, which has "My diary with mum and dad"
I know it might be a personal stuff but I opened it anyway, I have my way no Matter what happens, I opened the first page and saw a picture of a small girl, she was very cute and pretty, I knew it was my mate, a man carried her , he was her father, I knew him because he was my dad Beta before he died, and a woman beside them, she looks like an older version of my mate, I knew she was her mother.
They looked quite happy, I almost believed the woman was an innocent lady but who am I kidding she's a fucking Witch with an innocent face of an angel, I scoffed and turned the page. Then I saw a beautiful writing saying

" baby, if this book was given to you by your grandpa, then that means something has happened to me and maybe later to your dad, I'm so sorry baby, I don't want to leave you but life has it plans, and we can't change fate, this type of book was given to me by my mum so we could interact with each other when she's gone, Nd what I mean by this is that when u write in this book, I would be able to know what you say to me or write and I would be able to show a sign to know I heard, I love you baby and I want you to know you're a special child, one of the last of your dad's kind and Ur grandmother's kind

"Wow!! That was some speech, what did she mean by her kind??" Leon asked

" You only talk to me when it's about our mate huh" I replied Nd he just scoffed

" Well I don't know what it means" I said replying his question.

" So this means she could write to her dead mother, this is witchcraft Leon, told ya they use mystic powers" I said to him

" You're always on the negative part" he said Nd became silent

I just sighed and went on with the diary
The next page was her first story I think
It says

" Hi mum , or should I say diary, chuckle, grandpa gave me this book nine years ago when it was a two years after dad died, I was sad about what happened to you and dad and that got me scared, I couldn't touch anything that urs or dad because it always brings bad memories, but I think I'm over that, this nine years with grandpa has been hectic, and bad for me mum, everyone hates me, except my teachers in school and Diana,my best friend, I take karate lessons and some wrestling lessons which helped me in fighting those silly wolves who think they're better and honestly mum, I always kick their asses even in wolf form, hmmm, mum honestly I'm sad about ppl calling me witch and saying I killed the former Alpha Nd that I steal youthfulness, it's not like it's a sin to be pretty, is it mum?? Sighs , and about the mate thing mum I'm almost eighteen, I didn't get my wolf form from sixteen, Nd I kinda know it wouldn't show up, I don't wanna have a mate mum ,I'm sure he's gonna be like the others but I hope not because he or she would be my life partner and soulmate , he would be the only person to understand me and knows I am not as people portrait me to be but I know that's a false hope, and mum , I found Ken in your coven , grandpa took me to the coven a long time ago and I've been visiting you and dad since then, hmmm, honestly mum , I wish Ken is my mate, we kissed two days ago , it was my first kiss , we almost make out but he told me he couldn't be with me and I understand it, he likes me but I know we couldn't do it for maybe we both have mates somewhere...

At that I paused , " she kissed someone" I growled possessively ,

" I thought you didn't care" Leon smirked

I continued reading " mum please show me a sign u heard this , I love you mum, more than anything"

Honestly , I'm confused right now, is my opinion of this girl wrong, with this she seems Normal, "aaargh" o groaned, "let's check some more" I said
I flipped through the other pages and stopped at the last
" Hi mum I saw the sign you gave yesterday it says " trust your heart and never hate ignorant people for they might not know they are ignorant" it was on a newspaper page , I knew it was Ur sign because it's weird to see a newspaper in our compound since grandpa doesn't really read them, thank you mum and hmmm I think I have a mate mother, when j went to hunt today with my gifted bow and arrow, I saw a silhouette of a man with the most beautiful scent ever, I knew it was him, but even from afar, his aura screams power and authority, is he a beta or an Alpha, aaargh mum I don know what to do, I also don't wanna go to that party, it's so annoying but I'll go anyways, bye mum"

"Wow that was something" I thought

" She can sense auras Liam" Leon told me

"Yeah I noticed, that's a gift I think" I replied
Then I checked her purse again, found some bills and a box, I took out the purse, check inside and found a necklace

" What the fuck" Leon shouted,

" What??" I replied

" That's the fucking lycan king and queen crest" he replied

"What , how did she get it" I replied

" I don't know, is she a lycan, maybe that's what her mother meant by her kind" he replied
" I doubt that, I have to find her, let's get to her grandpa's house"
" I hope I haven't offended her with all I thought" she is innocent, all this proves this
