Meant to be the Luna

His scent

      As the day went by everyone was busy talking about the mating ritual or should I say party, I was just frustrated, knowing  I would definitely not be picked as his mate,I mean who would wanna mate with a wolfless girl with a Witch as a mother. Know one!!!.

Diana was just so excited, honestly I've never seen her that excited before
"Princess" she kept yelling at me while I was sleeping peacefully...

"What is it for goddess sake Diana" I frowned
"I was having a great sleep" I added
She just chuckled and said

"It's 3pm already shouldn't we go get the dress we would wear tomorrow"

"Why should we get new dresses,it's just like any other party" I told her
She shook her head and said

"Nope,it isn't,it's the mating ritual for crying out loud, the alpha is going to meet his mate and we can't say...
She smiled as if daydreaming "it can be either of us" she knows I hate to talk about mate so she added " don't worry,u don't want a mate but please let's at least look good enough" she pleaded

"OK, ok I've heard you little Diana" I chuckled
" But I have to go hunting today, it's been a while , once I'm back we'll go to the mall OK"

"OK" she replied and smiled
"Just don't stay long" she said

"I won't I promise, help me tell grandpa I took dad's arrow and bow ,ok?"

"Of course" she said and with that she left my room,
She's staying with I and grandpa for a while now and I really love that she's here,she makes me alive.

"So let's get ready"I told myself...

I stood up from my bed and took a pair of short jeans and boots with my favourite hood which is the colour of my eyes, I then tied my hair up into a messy ponytail, I took my bag pack and my dad's bow and arrow...
Since I don't have a wolf and wolves normally hunts most of the time, my dad gave me a bow and arrow saying it was from my mum, he said it's was magic.
I do believe in magic but I don't really think the thing is...

  I went through the back door into the forest,I walked around the forest path and took out my bow and arrow, I went deeper into the forest and as I did the scent of the forest changed ,it was summer but the scent coming from this side of the forest was the smell of the breeze after raining, and a mix of chocolate smell, it also as some hint of rose scent in it,
wait!! Rose scent??

"That's weird" I thought
Rose is very weird in our pack...
A thought came to my mind "only powerful wolves sometimes have rose scent to show their uniqueness"
"But how is this scent so strong" I wondered
And then I saw someone in the far path of the forest
The person is a man from is body built
Even though the person was far from where I am I knew he was very tall.

I went close, and noticed the smell was very intoxicating as I went,then the person turned and faced me,he was approaching...
I was scared to death,he smells so nice yet dangerous. I quickly packed my bow and arrow and ran back home,I ran as fast as I could.

Only one statement in my head "is that my mate??"
How's that even possible ...
I shook my head and went inside my house or should I say our house...

  Diana saw me and asked " what's wrong it's only been thirty minutes since you left"

" Well I guess I was tired today, let's get ready for the mall'' I replied and went straight to the room.
Diana just forgot about the Matter and quality went to change our clothes for the mall.

   When we got to the mall, Diana dragged me to a dress store,they sell jewelry there also.

A middle aged woman came to greet us with a broad smile " welcome, what can we help you with"

Before I could even speak Diana replied
" We need two beautiful dresses and matching jewelry" she squealed beside me
" God Diana can't you just quit squealing and relax,you didn't even greet her" I frowned at her
" I'm sorry, just so excited" she then turned to the woman and said "I'm really really really sorry, I'm just so excited" she said with sincerity

The woman chuckled and said " it's fine dear, everyone is actually happy presently, it's for the mating ritual right??" She giggled
Diana smiled and nodded
I on the other and just pouted and said " what's in it by the way,it's just a ritual , once that Alpha king finds his mate everything is done,why get so excited"

  The woman smiled at me and said " Dear, you should be happy, The pack needs a Luna, yes we all know he is the alpha King, the king of all Alpha's , but still he needs a Luna, and...
We can't say, it might even be you" she grinned again

"Oh goddess help me, I can never be I'm an hybrid remember, and also has no wolf"
"I'm no better than any other human" I told them .

The woman smiled again and said "don't worry dear, I'm sure u have your own special gift, so don't feel down, I know you look also looks weird to us but still no one can deny the fact that you're the most beautiful in the pack, and smartest, most strong in martial arts" the woman praised me and I can't help but blush.

" Thanks ma'am" I smiled
" Oh no" she chuckled " call me Elsa "
"Oh OK Elsa, thanks so much"I replied
And so we went to get the dresses and jewellery,paid and went home back, I just went to bed immediately...
