"I was thinking... What if we ran away... I mean like, escaping from here." Tom said, staring at Y/N. "Huh? How can we do that? It's literally two against the whole army." Y/N stated. "We must try!" Tom raised his tone. "I know there are low chances, but, what if we succeed? Think about it Y/N, we can even find Edd!" He continued.

Y/N stopped, thinking. Yes, their escaping chances were low, but what if they actually succeeded? "Listen, I've been planning this escape for months, but just didn't get the chance. Now that I'm not around Tord– Red Leader... I can actually get out, with you!" He happily said. "You know what? Fine." Y/N said. "Tell me your plan."

Days were passing by. Tom and Y/N were chattering every afternoon, after all the nurses left, even sometimes Matt joined their conversations. He knew about their breaking free plan, but refused to join them. If they failed, harsh punishments were awaiting them... Y/N also started to cover their right eye, wearing an eye patch, and Tom wearing goggles.

As the days passed by, Tom and Y/N became even closer than before. They were making funny jokes, talking about the past, about Edd, not knowing if he's dead or not, about their escape plan. Both of them've missed each other's company.

Tom's and Y/N laughter rang through the corridors. Some soldiers were still sleeping, some of them ignoring the laughter, and some of them cursing. The laughter even managed to wake up Tord. He groaned. "What's all that noise?" He asked groggily. His door knocked. "Come in." He called. Paul, Patryck, Matt and other soldiers walked inside. "What's all these noise?" Tord repeated, asking. "We still don't know where it comes from, Leader. Although, we're guessing it's some of the soldiers, so we're checking the dorms." Paul informed.

"But the sounds are coming from the west. The dorms are at the east side." Tord replied. Patryck hummed. "The rooms in the west side are the training area, the dining room and the lab." He said. Tord shot up. "The lab!" He realized. He got up, quickly putting on his jacket. "Follow me." He commanded, the soldiers obeying.

Both Y/N and Tom laughed loudly. "Remember the time when that evil spirit haunted Eduardo's house?" Y/N asked. "Yeah! They got their house ghosty. Get it?" Tom asked, grinning widely. Y/N stopped laughing, staring blankly. Tom's smile faded a bit. "No?" Tom asked. Still having no response, Tom sighed sadly. "You still suck at jokes, Tom." Y/N spoke up.

"What's this noise over here!?" Tord's voice interrupted their conversation. Y/N crossed their arms. "None of your business, Tord." Y/N said harshly. "One, It's Red Leader to you." Tord got closer to Y/N 's cell, scowling. "And second, It's 1 AM. We're trying to sleep." Tord stated. "We don't care." Tom scowled aswell, looking at Tord.

"Well, Thomas." Tord then stepped closer to Tom's cell. "You weren't giving these answers when you were my assistant. Do you think you're now free to do whatever you want?" Tord asked, glaring. "Yes, yes I do." Tom glared back. "You–" Tord held up his fist, ready to punch the glass in front of him. He stopped, then lowered his hand. "You're lucky It's the middle of the night. Next time, I won't be very nice." Tord said, before walking away. "Come on, everyone. Back to bed." He called out, as the soldiers started to leave. There was only one of them left; Matt.

Matt crossed his arms, looking away,. "I hope you guys' plan succeed." He mumbled. Both Tom and Y/N looked at each other in confusion. "Because if It doesn't, Tord's doings on you will get even more painful." was all he said, before walking away. "Matt?" Y/N called out, however getting no response. "I wish he was the same he used to be back then. Admiring himself all day, being annoying, never dropping his mirror. Even his CD's... Actually, the CD's can stay out of this." Tom spoke.

"So Tom... When are we putting this plan into action?" Y/N asked. "We're putting this into action tomorrow." Tom stared at the surroundings around him. "Tomorrow..."
