shimmering, the morning sun gently hovered over the horizon, showing it's beautiful glamour. a pair of footsteps adorned the sound of waves, a gentle breeze, and the screeching of dinosaurs in the distance.

"hey." a voice would say, his gaze landed on a pair of teal eyes, almost too blinding to look at.

"hey," he responded. the two sat down onto the edge of the dock, staring off at the vast openness of the ocean.

"do you ever think we'll get out of here?" one asked, the other shrugged.

"what do you think our parents will say?" the other asked, and he shrugged. "i don't know."

the silence dragged on, however the comfortable lull of the waves and warm weather had filled the silence in a way words couldn't.

"well, if we don't get out of here, i'm happy i'm stuck here with you."

they smiled. "yeah, i'm happy too."

one put his head on the shoulder of the other, hoping to drift off into daydreaming, to just escape the cruel reality they were dragged into, especially at such young ages.

the sound of a dinosaur wail from behind them startles them, but it's just her, walking up and leaning into them for pets.

they gratefully pet her, showering her in compliments and rubs.

they soon find the rest of the group walking towards them, giving their greetings and sitting down on the edge as a group.

everyone smiled, content with the fact that they had eachother, even while being alone on a dinosaur infested island. they made jokes, laughed, and they were happy.

well.. as happy as you can be when you're alone. but you aren't alone.

yeah, you.

you aren't alone either. you have me. i may not be much, but i'm here.

i love you! take care of yourselves, and be sure to get rest, you deserve it. you're all so amazing. you just need to embrace it. you're amazing.
