ELARA heard a noise from downstairs, she got up and walked through the house it was getting close to time for the party and Elara didn't want to miss it, as she made her way towards the front door she grabbed her gun cocking it and Having it ready to shoot, when she opened the door her eyes met Lana's.
"Lana." Elara said Coldly "what are you doing here?" Elara asked as she held the gun down by her side "I'm just here to make one thing fucking clear." Lana said as she walked one step closer to Elara, Elara lifted her hand as she held her gun at her sisters head "don't come any closer Lana." Elara said, Lana laughed "you wouldn't kill me, you're too much of a baby to kill your last family member." Lana said laughing.
Elara smirked "That's what you think.." Elara said as she shot at Lana's leg, she then lifted the gun again "I told you I didn't have a sister anymore, you ruined that when you decided to kill me." Elara said "here's what's coming to you." Elara said as she shot lana in the head, Once Lana fell to the ground lifeless Elara took a deep shake breathe, she couldn't believe what she'd just done.
Elara started shaking as she dropped the gun, Everett ran to Elara he noticed Lana "oh shit." He whispered as he held Elara in his arms "are you okay?" Everett asked as Elara's Eyes met his "I think so?" Elara said "it was self defense she was threatening me." Elara said shakily, Everett took ahold of Elara's hand "that's exactly what we'll tell the police because she's been threatening you for days." Everett said as he pulled Elara in for another hug.
After the police had come to the house and Everett and Elara explained what happened the coroner took the body and the police left, Elara and Everett went back inside of the house and got ready to change "I can't believe it." Elara said "Ambers throwing a party in remembrance of Wes but how is a party going to fix anything?" Elara asked as she changed into her dress.
Everett walked over to her as he pushed her blonde waves behind her ear "Just try to enjoy it baby I know it's hard after all we've been through recently but this is a good distraction from everything that's been going on, this will be good for you and for me, this is good for us." Everett said as he kissed Elara's forehead, Elara smiled "yeah you're totally right ev, I mean why am I Trying to hold on to the bad? I should have fun, that's what Wes would want he'd want me to have fun, he'd want me happy and tonight I'm gonna be happy for him. For Wes." Elara said smiling.
Everett smiled he looked into her eyes. Her eyes lit up and her Smile was genuine she'd gotten the happiness and life back into her eyes and smile that he thought had faded, she had her spark back and he knew this was the best thing to happen because despite his hurt he looked out for Elara, he was there for Elara, Elara is the love of his life and Everett would do anything for her including dying.
"You are absolutely stunning my love." Everett said smiling as he pulled Elara against him, "mmm and you my love look absolutely breathtaking." Elara said smiling as she wrapped her arms around his neck, Everett wrapped his arms around Elara's waist as he leaned in his lips grazing hers as she Looked at him "I love you." Elara said, "I love you." Everett said smiling as he kissed her, Elara smiled into the kiss.
The two of them headed to the party, once they arrived at ambers house Elara took a Deep breathe as she took ahold of Everett's hand and walked around the house, Amber greeted them and Elara smiled, She saw Chad and Mindy but no sign of Tara or Sam and that's what was weird to her.
The Party kept going it was getting late that's when Sam and Tara finally arrived, and with them came Richie, that's when Elara felt that lump in her chest build, Elara took a deep breathe as her eyes met Richie's "Everett, I don't trust him, I'm not feeling well I.." Elara's words slurred as her eyes rolled back into her head, Elara fell to the ground unconscious as Everett rushed down to her side.
Richie and Amber kicked everyone out while Sam and Tara also rushed over to Elara's side as she laid on the ground unconscious, Everett tried to wake her unaware of what caused her to faint, Elara's Eyes slowly fluttered opened as she met Everett's eyes.
