Katelyn had spent her whole day thinking about the man with the black coat. Unfortunately this caused her to fail he pop quiz in science class about the different types of rocks found on Hawai'i. She wasn't focused so she had a hard time remembering everything they learned on that topic.
That night she was extremely exhausted from all that running she did at soccer practice that
Afternoon and went straight to sleep.
Katelyn found herself in a dark room. The only light was from the moon shining through the little window high above the other side of the room. It looked like an attic but she couldn't be sure. Her vision was blurry and there was hardly any light.
" Hello?" said Katelyn. Her voice echoed off the walls.
She heard evil laughter followed by a cold, heartless voice:
" no more fooling around. I got you and you're never leaving me again."
She saw the man standing in the shadows looking at her. She struggled to get herself up but when she did, she ran. She tripped over something while she was running. Probably a stair because there was another one on top. She climbed the steps and reached a door which, to her surprise, was locked. She could have sworn it was open when she reached the first stair. She fumbled around with the doorknob until it finally opened. As usual the man with the black coat caught up to her and was only a few feet away. This is usually the part where she would wake up soaked in sweat and screaming. Except, this time she isn't waking up.
Katelyn realizes she's dreaming and she is supposed to wake up right about now. When she doesn't wake up, Katie starts to panick and the man inches closer and closer.
"oh, no."
