Pestering Phil is always fun, until he gets frustrated and shoos them off. Tommy and Wilbur were pestering Phil while he was putting all of his supplies away, when Phil had started to threaten them to get them out of his hair.

Wilbur was forced to help Phil with his unpacking and organizing, so before Tommy was able to jump up the ladder and escape, Wilbur caught him by his wrist. He leaned in, and hummed into Tommy's ear.

"Pick up a couple of cigarettes from Las Nevadas for us, will you?" He asked, watching Tommy's face.

"Sure." Tommy nodded, before pulling away hurriedly and scattering up the stairs.

He rushed to the front door, pulling on his boots in a rush. He tossed on a thick sweater and grabbed a stack of ender pearls, he didn't want to be caught in the snowstorm later that night. The sun was a little past the middle of the sky, which made Tommy groan.

He rushed out the door, slamming it shut behind him and throwing the first ender pearl far into the distance as he shivered, feeling the cold. Tommy got dropped into a pile of snow, letting out a yelp of frustration.

"Are you fucking kidding me!" Tommy screamed, starting to claw his way out to get a better throw on his pearl. He closed his eyes as he shivered, feeling a warm sensation take over his body as he hugged his arms to keep the warmth on his skin.

When Tommy looked back up, he was surprised to see all the snow around him had melted down to the frozen grass below. Tommy didn't want to think twice about what happened, before tossing himself further into the portals.

~•~

Tommy was standing right in front of the entrance to the arctic. He had fucked us his timing, and the snowstorm had to have been rampant at this rate. Tommy felt like crying in frustration, it's not like he was walking into a dessert on the hottest day, so he couldn't trade gold for a heat potion to help.

Heat resistant potions rapidly cooled down your body temperature to deal with the heat, as well as other helpful uses like a layer of magma cream protecting your skin from the sun. But in the nether, it's hard to find warmth you can take with you.

From tales and stories, the end was a perfect place to get help for the cold. The end was cold and still, with arctic like winds that swept across the empty wastelands.

Tommy was leaching off of the warmth. He had messaged Wilbur asking him to come out and bring him a coat and snow skates- but the messages didn't go through. When Tommy groaned and looked up, a diamond got tossed through the portal, landing directly in front of his boot.

Tommy picked it up, turning it in his hands as he looked back up at the portal. Tommy was suspicious, but interested at what could've done that. If Tommy was lucky, it was either storming diamonds, or Techno was baiting him out to laugh at him later.

Tommy hated that he preferred the latter. But look! Techno is strong and can carry Tommy through the snow. He was going back into his second half of hibernation soon, so it would probably knock him out faster by staying in the cold for a bit.

Tommy held his breath and braced for the cold air, grudgingly stepping into the portal after shoving the diamond into his pocket. When he popped through the other side, Tommy opened his eyes, surprised to see a path down to the grass, melted and leading all the way through the gate and onto the porch of the cabins.

Tommy shrugged, assuming Phil or Techno took pity on him and used flints to clear the snow. Tommy clutched his bag as he started to jog down to the path to the cabins, feeling slightly warm at the fact that someone went through the effort to clear a path for him.
