Tommy needed protection from Phil. He knew he wouldn't physically hurt him, at least not intentionally, and what was better than a sleeping full form piglin brute? Well, until he accidentally rolls onto you and you have to fight for your life to wake him.

Tommy slipped into his room without detection from the others, shutting the door and slipping into Techno's room. By default, Techno had the largest room. It was decorated with gold and other precious objects, and the seats and bed were made for a piglin. Well, his bed was made for a piglin and a polar bear.

Which gave Tommy plenty of room to slip into the bed and under the covers without detection from the sleeping piglin. It was weird to see Techno so calm, and so defenceless.

Tommy got comfortable enough when he figured Techno probably wasn't going to roll over for a while, so he cuddled into his back. Tommy slid his arms around Techno as well as he could, and wrapped a leg around him to get as close as possible.

Tommy growled at the sound of Steve scratching at the door, and he had no idea why. He loved Steve just as much as Techno himself- as well as the rest of Techno's surprisingly docile pet polars. Tommy should give baba a visit.

The thought of Steve getting between him and Techno made Tommy slip a bracelet off of his wrist, throwing it at the door to scare the poor creature. He heard Steve tumble back before turning and walking away. That made Tommy's heart feel better.

Tommy couldn't sleep, he was too jittery and nervous about how Phil was going to deal with the 'situation' at hand. He knew he'd have to sit down with Phil, and he couldn't tell if he'd be screamed at or sympathized with.

Knowing that Phil had found out what Wilbur had done to him through Tommy's nightmares and through Phil having to help him clean himself after getting badly hurt after falling off of the roof while high. He saw Tommy's cigarette burns spotted on Tommy's concernedly boney ribs.

White scars piled on top of each other due to Wilbur running out of room. Most of the times Wilbur burned him, it was by accident. He had a bad habit of falling asleep after days of staying up in Tommy's bed, passing out before he could even finish his cigarette, causing him to drop it on Tommy while he entered deep sleep.

Tommy had forgiven him for those. The ones that overlapped were on purpose. After Wilbur had found out he was accidentally doing this, he just decided to do it awake too, using Tommy as a human lighter.

Not to mention the times they were completely out of food, and Wilbur started to get angry due to hunger. When Tommy complained like the child he was, Wilbur would tell him to just eat the butts of the cigarette.

He never actually meant for Tommy to do it, but being a sixteen year old and only knowing wars, manipulation and starvation, he took it at face value. It made Tommy cringe to this day, even if it had been over three years.

Tommy decided to rip himself away from his depressing thoughts, because he had his favourite warrior in front of him. Who was his. And why was Tommy suddenly acting possessive the same way his family was?

Tommy passed it off as wanting to make up for lost time. He started running a hand through the piglins long hair, much more thick and bristly than when he was human. He really hoped he didn't get squashed in the process.

Tommy started to split the hair into groups, and allowed himself to get deep into braiding Techno's hair.

After a few hours of aimlessly braiding, he finally stopped. Techno had finally rolled over, and Tommy was no longer scared of becoming a raccoon pancake. He decided to leave the room, trying not to test the limits of how much warmth he can leach off of him without him waking.
