It's my birthday and the grand day we were coming partially out of hiding. There's no telling if we get recognized they would do glamours but it would be straining and you can't do that with Gringotts. I read all about Goblins and they hate wizards for a majority but if your trying to get over them on looks or we'll business your asking for trouble. Goblin trouble isn't something you want to be known for. They control your money.
So it was only going to be dad, Sirius and I. Mom gave dad a whole list of things that the house needs to be restocked in. Diapers included. We were going by apparition which was slightly horrible. Siri walked on my left and dad on my right slightly in front leading me. We entered and dad pulled his hat down more and quickly led us to the wall. I heard clatter and it went quiet. Dad and Sirius was frozen fearing to look back.
"Black." I heard a woman said.
"Sirius Orion Black turn around and face me." She snapped. I snorted covering my mouth. He gave me a look. He turned around.
"Oh hi Mary you look beautiful just as you did in Hogwarts." He said sheepishly.
"James Charlus Potter!" She snapped.
"H-hey Mary." He said sheepishly. I looked at her curious.
"Um Dad should I tell mum your flirting?" I asked amused.
"Don't you dare!" Both Siri and dad warned. I grinned sheepishly holding my hands up in surrender.
"Potter? You mean they weren't killed by he who shall not be named?"
I heard them murmur and I frowned and dad stood in front of me.
"Let's get going. Your mum is setting up a birthday party for you promise to act surprise when we get there though." Siri said but I frown hearing a old man telling what he thought happened that night. My hair turned a pale blue.
"C-can we go." I whispered grabbing dads robe. He nodded.
"Maybe we can speak in another time Mary it is really nice seeing you. I wasn't lying you are just as beautiful as you were in Hogwarts." Sirius said with a smile. He ruffled my blue hair and we went in the alley. I looked around I saw so many things. Sirius pulled out the list.
"We went over your list and you already have and learnt those so Moony gave me a list of books he wants you to get for his lessons." Sirius told me. I nodded.
"Uncle Siri what if I don't make any friends." I asked looking away but holding Dads Robe still. We were still walking to the bank that is further up.
"Impossible. Your charming, you love creatures and learning. You draw people in with your smile. You'll make lots of friends." He said softly.
"But what if I'm in Slytherin." I asked.
"Then you will be a great Slytherin. I have a cousin that was in Slytherin and she is great and nice. Your dads mom was a Slytherin." Sirius said. I felt my hair change and by my bangs it turned to a pinkish color. He grinned. We got to the large white marble building and I gaped at it. I read the door inscription and it really went with what I read about Goblins. We entered. A woman saw us and glared. She left a man and was marching towards us. And suddenly both my uncle and father stood behind me using me as a human meat shield from the wrath of a very angry looking woman.
"Um can you not hurt them while they hold me as a meat shield?" I asked quickly. She glanced at me and calmed a bit down.
"You must Be Harry. Your godfather would babble to me all about you since you were born. Even when you said Unci as your first word." She said. I looked at Uncle.
"Um uncle why are there many beautiful woman angry with you. Did you dump them or treat them dirty?" I asked innocently. He blanched.
"Harry dear..." I turned to her. She had a sickly sweet smile.
"Yes ma'am?" I asked unsure.
"I'm Andromeda Tonks. I'm a cousin of your Uncle." She said.
"Oh." I said curious.
"I heard that name. Your the scary potion cousin." I said. She smile and she closed her eyes. I felt Sirius tremble like a leaf.
"I am rather good at potions." She said.
"I know! Uncle Moony always compared my results to yours. He's been tutoring me!" I said with a smile.
"Oh do you like potions?" She asked.
"Yeah I love all magic. Though. It's hard to choose a favorite subject. I love helping creatures." I said. My hair turned to a yellow. She smiled.
"Your metamorphosis ability is quite impressive." She told me.
"She also has a daughter that has it." Sirius told me.
"I think you told me before in one of the lessons on how to control it." I said. He nodded.
"We are going shopping. He's going to Hogwarts this year." Dad told her.
"Excited?" She asked me. My hair went back to pale blue.
"Sad and worried." I said.
"Um..." the man she was with said stepping beside her.
"You remember Sirius?" She asked. He nodded and shook his hand and by the wince uncle had he gave the painful squeeze.
"James Potter." She said.
"Not dead I see." He said shaking dads hand painfully too as the wince he gave told me anything.
"And this is Harry Potter James Son and Sirius Godson and Heir to the Black and Potter family." She introduced. He held out his hand and I pulled a face.
"It's considered rude to not shake your hand. However I saw their looks and k know you have a strong grip." I said weary. He smiled. He took my hand and didn't give that death grip and I sighed with relief. She giggled.
"Lily is throwing him a birthday party when we get back. Can you join us?" Dad offered.
"Oh yes of course. I want to say hello. How is Lily?" She asked Dad.
"She's pregnant with twins so she's giving dad the glares. But it's never boring. I have awesome siblings." I said. Their eyes widened.
"Really. How many siblings do you have!" She asked.
"Five. There's Sage she's four. There's Timothy he's 3, Alex he's 2 with his twin sister Rue and then my baby sister Honey she's one." I said happily.
"And your excited about having two more siblings?" The man asked. I nodded fast.
"I love having so many siblings. I love playing with them. I try to be a good role model and k try to teach them a lot." I said.
"He trained them good. When Minnie came to deliver the letter by hand he had his siblings tie us up and wheel us into the sitting room with a wagon." Sirius muttered with a shiver. I smirked and covered my laugh with a cough. They smiled.
"I can't wait to meet them. Shall we meet at the leaky cauldron then?" She asked them. They nodded.
"Bring Nymphadora with you." Sirius said with a pout. She smiled. And gave a nod.
"Harry do you remember how to great them?" Dad asked motioning to the goblin tellers. I nodded and took a deep breathe and walked to an empty one. He put down his quill and eyed me.
"Greetings master Teller May your enemies drown in their own blood." I greeted.
"Greetings young Wizard May your money grow ten fold. How can I help you today?" He asked.
"I wish to go to my trust vault. Here is my key." I said. He took it. He looked it over and gave a nod.
"Please follow Master Guide he shall take you to your vault." He said.
"Thank you. May your king rule with a mighty heart." I said recounting the phrase I read in a book. The goblins went silent. I felt nervous. I think I translated it wrong.
"How did you learn that phrase?!" He demanded. I stepped back.
"Is something the matter?" Dad asked.
"S-sorry I just read and I thought I translated it correctly. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend..." I stuttered out as I saw guards on full alert.
"A book?" The teller demanded/asked.
I nodded.
"I love learning about creatures and I found a book behind a shelf covered in dust and webs. Like it's been there for ages. I couldn't understand it. But I started learning to read it." I said. They let me off though I did get studious looks from them.
