Heesoo's heart was pounding as she made her way to the old, forgotten rooftop. Despite the sense of unease, there was also a glimmer of hope within her. She yearned to uncover the truth and understand why her friends turned out to be mere illusions.

As she reached the rooftop, memories flooded her mind. The laughter, the conversations, the moments captured on her camera. It all felt so real, yet here she stood alone, questioning the authenticity of her past.

Suddenly, a figure appeared from the shadows. It was Minji, wearing a somber expression. The air was thick with unanswered questions as Heesoo confronted her.

"Minji, what is going on? Why did you and the others disappear? And why were you just illusions?" Heesoo asked, her voice trembling with both confusion and longing Minji took a deep breath, contemplating her words before responding. "Heesoo, I know this is hard to understand, but your friends... they were never real. They were a creation of your imagination, a coping mechanism that helped you navigate through your loneliness."

Heesoo's eyes widened, her heart sinking with every word"But... how? Why?"

"Sometimes, when we yearn for companionship and connection, our minds can create illusions to fill the void," Minji explained gently. "You longed for friendship, for someone to share your experiences with, and your mind constructed these friends for you."

Heesoo struggled to absorb the truth. The memories she cherished, the laughter and tears they shared, they were all figments of her imagination. A mix of emotions washed over her -Λ

sadness, confusion, and a tinge of anger.

"But why keep it a secret?" Heesoo questioned, her voice trembling with a mix of hurt and curiosity.

Minji reached out, placing a comforting hand on Λ

Heesoo's shoulder"I understand how you feel, Heesoo. We kept it a secret because we thought it was for the best. We didn't want you to question the authenticity of those moments and the happiness they brought you. We wanted you to believe that you had genuine connections."

Heesoo's eyes welled up with tears as she processed the revelation. "But what about the tape I found? The one with the memories of us?"

Minji's expression softened. "That tape holds a different kind of truth, Heesoo. While the people in the memories may not have been real, the experiences, the emotions, and the significance they held in your life were very much realThey shaped you, inspired you, and taught you valuable lessons about friendship and the passage of time"

Heesoo wiped away her tears, a bittersweet smile forming on her face"I guess even if they were illusions "I'm grateful for the impact they had on me," Heesoo continued, her voice filled with a mixture of nostalgia and acceptance. "Those illusions taught me the value of friendship, the importance of cherishing the moments we have, and the beauty of creating connections."

Minji nodded, a hint of sadness in her eyes. "Indeed, Heesoo. The tape holds the essence of those memories and it's a testament to to the emotions and experiences you shared with your imagined friends. It's a reminder of the growth and resilience you've shown"
