Room 430

I fell asleep late, around 1-ish on a school night. Oh yeah. School. I don't know if I can make it. I can't spend a full 7 hours in that hellhole without breaking down. So I didn't.

Today would be a rough day for Cady though. I know she was a bitch, but I can't help but feel bad for her. Everyone thinks she pushed someone in front of a bus. And I nearly forgot about Regina's plan of making Cady take the blame for the Burn Book. She'd have to deal with that too.

Before she left, I ran after her before she reached the door and I hugged her. "Y-y/n..?" She was shocked

"Shush- good luck at school today." I pull back from the hug.

"Thanks- I-I'll be dead by the time I'm home though- hah-" She laughed awkwardly, and I do as well. "I uh- I better get going."

"Alright. I'll see you later." I smile faintly as she walks out. I went to the couch to watch TV, but mainly because where I was sitting, the landline was right next to me. In case Ms. George or the hospital called.

I waited hours, watching movies helped make the time pass. Eventually, at 12:30, I got a call. I immediately picked up the landline. "Heron residence, hello?"

"Hello sweetheart, Regina just woke up, she wants you to come over." It was Ms. George.

"Of course. I'll be there right away. Ba bye."

Thank god we had two cars, I grabbed the keys and immediately rushed to the hospital. I may or may not have been speeding.. but whatever, it's in the name of love.

As soon as I got to the hospital, I parked and ran up to the front desk, "Where's room 430?"

"Fourth floor, turn right, and walk through the hallway." The lady pointed to the elevator. I nod and I rush over.

Room 430... Room 430.. where is it? I skimmed through the various rooms on the fourth floor. Then I saw it. I open the door softly.

"y/n..?" I heard Regina's sweet, but tired voice say from her bed.

"R-Regina!" I walk over to her smiling, shedding a few happy tears. "I'm so glad you're okay!"

"Yeah- just a few broken bones- in my spine- no big deal." She laughs.

My smile drops into a worried expression. "Are you gonna be okay? Are you gonna be able to walk?" I kneeled down to I was at her level.

"Oh yeah. I'll be fine. The doctors said I had to wear a spinal halo for a month or so though- so I guess I'll have that on during spring fling-"

"I'm glad you're okay." I kiss her on the forehead. "I love you so much."

"My sweet Y/n, I love you too." She smiles and places her hand on top of mine.
