Freshman First Day, 1983
The Twins walked up into the schools parking lot looking around at all the high-schoolers waltzing around chit-chatting with friends and making their way inside the school. Now, the twins were unlike others. There was a Boy and a Girl. Almost about the same height, same details, same age, just different choice of clothing. On the right stood the Boy. Tall, charming, serious, and his eyes never moved from the front double doors of the school. How piercing his blue diamond eyes stared into the windows without budging. His natural fluffy, non-styled, light brown shiny hair flowing in the low breeze Hawkins had held. He stood about 5'10 almost towering his sister by an inch or so.His black puffy sleeved zip-up jacket flowed with the wind, covering his dark red and grey-pink striped white collar buttoned up shirt tucked into his wide dark blue jeans buckled onto him by his dark brown leather belt with a rose-gold buckle holding it together.
On the left was a average 5,8 female with Blue angelic diamond eyes and short, fluffy, dark brown silky hair. Her long butterfly eye lashes were blended in with the eyeliner she wore. Her lips were as light pink as a light pink rose. No lipstick nor lip glossed acquired! Her choice of clothing was a light pink spaghetti strap T-Shirt with a pink-purple puffy sleeved cheer jacket with her name sown on her chest-left pocket on the front. The jacket hung off her shoulders as per usual and rests upon her mid arms and around the elbows. Her jeans we a casual light blue set of "Bell-Bottom Jeans."
"Welp this is it!" Rosie Remarked.
"O-Official First day a-at a Normie school...""Pfft. Please...." Robby scoffed.
"Look around. Everything's just.... Weird..."
Rosie looked up at her dear brother before looking at the people around her. Normal people outside Hopper's house always scared Rosie. It scared her in general just to be outside... Robby on the other hand swiped a piece of his light brown hair out of his face. He was never really fond of the guy's slick back big hair styles you'd see on t.v or at a high school in a hallway or in a cafeteria. It always made him sick to his stomach seeing how girls find it so attractive when guys had such big overly hair-sprayed hair. It mainly made him sick seeing guys in public places or in their cars using hair-spray and fluffing up their hair before seeing someone or going somewhere. The scent of a hair-spray can always made him want to puke! The chemicals in the hair-sprays now-a-days were way too much and so over done..The Twins walked forward to the school's entrance hall double doors and opened them gently, so they weren't noticed as the new kids on the block looking like freshies from out of your local average clothing store. Robby wasn't too fond of his outfit out in public but he was comfortable cause it was his normal average clothing at home, Rosie on the other hand was just comfy inside and outside the house.
Meanwhile as they walked down the school's hall to their lockers they hadn't notice they were being watched by the King of the school himself and his group of friends... Steve Harrington and his group of goons leaned against a school wall near the entrance watching as they opened their lockers and organized their things. Steve on the other hand kept his eyes on Rosie noticing how much of a shy-like appearance she had. To him Rosie seemed like a very jumpy, shy, and kind hearted person unlike the others girls who he'd reel in just because of his looks. Rosie was different.... Unlike... The other pick-me girls of the school who'd drool all over him...
"Steve you seeing this?" Nancy asked in a low tone."Yeah.... Who are they again? You said they were over-protective twins?.." Steve asked.
"Yeah... They say not to mess with the Brother or the Sister or there could be hell...Especially with the Brother.. You fuck with the Sister and the Brother has no hesitation putting one Hell of an end to what is started..." Nancy explained.Suddenly their conversation was interrupted by the sudden voice of Rosie confronting her brother about his starring towards Steve and his gang starring back.
"Robby, you've been staring off for about 5 minutes! What or Who could you possibly be staring-" Suddenly Rosie cut herself off at the sight of Steve.... Robby was staring at Steve and his goons this entire time.... Rosie slowly began feeling her cheeks glow a bright pink... What was this weird Human feeling?.....
Meanwhile on the other hand Steve couldn't remove his eyes off Rosie's... The way she had kept her eyes on him made him turn red... What was with him!? Did he seriously just fall for the new girl that fast!? He was unsure but he knew damn well there were high chances....
Rosie snapped out of her little stare trance and put on a heart warming smile as she waved politely. Steve's heart pounded.
Robby stared down at his sister confused."Why the hell is she being so nice to them?..." He wondered to himself..
Robby then looked up before finally speaking up.
"Hey hair! You just gonna stand and stare or return to your biz? My sister ain't nobody's sight for sore eyes Jackass!" He scolded.Rosie stared up at her brother in shock. Steve snapped out of his daze and went into sudden shock.
"Holy Shit..." He mumbled..
Did he really just get scolded for starring at a chick he found cute? By the girls siblings especially!? This was a first.... He was never scolded by others just for staring... Long distance admiration had been a thing you know, but to be scolded for it? Steve was on edge...
Suddenly it all was interrupted by Nancy pointing out Johnathan who was at the end of the hall posting up a poster on the bulletin board. Steve and his goons looked over along with Robby and Rosie."I heard his brother went missing... disappeared from thin air." Barbra mentioned.
"Dude hasn't slept for a while too..." Steve remarked.
Robby and Rosie looked up at each other before moving over a little to see the poster. It has seemed to be a missing child poster... one of.... Will Byers."Poor guy..." Rosie said.
She seemed to have felt bad for Johnathan. Losing a little brother at an elder age?... She would have been shattered to bits if she had lost Robby just out of nowhere. No information?... No clues?... Not a trace?.... Her heart sank.... Robby on the other hand was having flashbacks... His reflection view referenced back to the rainbow room... how there was a missing children's poster on it's door frame... How he used to stare at it for hours and try to find the kid.... All the visions he saw.... all the darkness around him.... The void he wandered for endless hours while his sister played with the other kids while he was in his own mind....
The echoes of the screaming child filled his mind.... How he had witnessed a young girl being eaten by some monster.... In the void anything he wanted to see could happen.... But he was in search for the girl... But unfortunately found out he found her... But she died right before his very eyes.... The monster dusted away revealing the girls ripped open corpse and bloody rib-cage as her scream died down to low gasps for air... He wandered to the girl scared... Crying out for help until he heard her last...faint...words...
"H-Help...Me..."
