The bell finally rang and the twins went their separate ways, Robby went to drama and Rosie went to art. As per usual Rose sat in the front of the class as she fiddled with her pencil and watched as the teacher talked about the lesson. She was normally concerned about the people in the back, (AKA; Steve Harrington and his group of buddies.) She had been concerned about their mischievous behaviour in talking about drama ever since she came here. Fights breaking out, Freaks and Jocks fighting over who's better, and the football team and their sweaty gym clothes. The last bit always disgusted her. She hated to hear about sweaty clothes considering she deals with her brother's clothes hiding habits.

Rosie got a sensation of goosebumps and she puked in her mouth a little. As per usual she hated swallowing but she had to do something. She sipped some of her water bottle as she watched her teacher sketch. He was always drawing some sort of fictional character. Today was a girl named Diana from Robby's weird D&D game. Their dad always brought their family to the table at night for a bit of a campaign with his wife and kids but...that was long ago before the breakout....

"Ms.Whitlock is everything alright?" Mr.Williams called.

"H-Huh?"

"You seem out of it youngling. Something on your mind?"

Rosie sighed slightly as she sketched in her notebook with her head on the table.

"Y-Yeah... Just a bit tired..."

Mr.Williams nodded as he continued the lesson. It was sort of on Robby and Rosie's files their parents passed due to an accident. But really...That wasn't the real story..

Meanwhile in the back was the gaze of Steve Harrington. The boy sat watching Rosie as his friends spoke about the recent fight. Steve knew there was something about Rosie he couldn't quite put his finger on. But he also knew something was on her mind. He may not of met her yet  but just by her expression and body language he knew something was bothering her.

Meanwhile with Robby in drama class he sat in the back of the auditorium unable to hear anything due to how boring the class was. He knew it was worth the credits but hated acting, wasn't really much of his thing, if it were for D&D he'd be all over it, but this was a whole other story.

He sat listening to the stupid voice of the teacher who sat on stage explaining their first project of the semester. Now if only Robby had some way to ditch, he wouldn't have to listen to the Dumbass on stage explain thing he didn't even know how to do. Triangle formation, project you voice, pull ropes, what was this cheers? Robby was dying of boredom as he tried to block out the man's stupid voice, but by some miracle it failed every time.

Robby stared at the clock about the stage just at few inches below the ceiling. He was beyond impatient. "Tick...Tock...Tick....Tock..." He mumbled to himself. Soon his mumbling became grumbling soon normal talking then-

"Mr.Whitlock!" Mr.Clarke scolded.

Robby jumped as he heard his name.
"Yes sir?"

"Have you been reading a long?"

"Yes sir."

"Good. Don't let me catch ya saying tick tock over and over again."

"got it."

Robby rolled his eyes and looked down at his manual. He needed to leave...

Soon the bell rang and the twins met up in the gym, Robby and Rosie walked out from the locker rooms and made their way to the bleachers where they sat and watched the boys play basket ball and score hoops. Rosie sighed and leaned back, Robby noticed her expression and moved her hair out of her eyes.

"You okay sis?" Robby asked.

"Just....Missing mom and dad..."

"Something triggered the memory again huh?"

"Mhm... I miss Jax too...."

"I know... He was an older brother any child would have wanted...."

Robby placed his hand on his sister's shoulder. He felt bad for her.

"I'm gonna go grab water from the coach, i'll be back alright?" Robby smiled.

"K..."

Robby then jumped down from the bleachers and left to grab waters for the both of them. Meanwhile Rosie sat on her own when suddenly she noticed none other than Steve Harrington walking up the bleacher steps her way. What did he want?

Steve sat beside Rosie and looked down at her.
"You alright?"

"Y-Yeah..." Rosie rubbed her arm shyly as she looked off to the side.

"Listen... I saw you looked...upset...bothered maybe, back in art, something on your mind?.."

Rosie looked up at Steve. Did he just welcome her warmly to talk to him? Either way Rosie felt a comfortable presence among her. A sense of trust washed over her.

"J-Just...Memories..."

"Memories?"

Rosie sighed.
"My.....parents passing..."

Steve sat in shock.
"I'm...so sorry for your loss."

"It's..fine.."

Steve then moved her face to face him.
"No. It's not... Your mourning.. Your grieving over someone you lost.. It pains me to see you like this.."

"I don't even know who you are..."

"Want to?"

Rosie looked up at him in a bit of a surprise.
"Huh?...."

"I'm Steve, Steve Harrington." Steve extended his hand out for a handshake noticing Rosie's hesitance.

Rosie took a quick breather as she shook his hand lightly and looked up at him with the same warm welcoming smile she had gave him earlier that morning. "Rosalie, Rosalie Whitlock. Y-You can just call me Rosie."

Steve heart sorta skipped a little as he came up with an idea.
"How about I just call you rose?"

Rosie blushed and smiled. Her light giggle giving Steve some courage.
"That's sorta..My brothers nickname for me."

"Wait the tall twin boy that follows you?"

"That's Robby, he's a sweetheart once you get to know him."

"Oh.. No wonder he scolded me earlier."

"Yeah he's overprotective of me. But I get where he comes from. Plus he gets it from mom." Rosie giggled.

Steve smiled lightly as his friend called him over to join them in another round of shooting hoops.
"Well it was nice meeting ya rose. I'll catch you around. Maybe hang out sometime?"

"Sure! Why not?"

Rosie waved off to Steve as he ran back to the court. Robby then showed up and sits beside her and hands her water.

"Here, also what was that about, you find out who he is?"

"Mhm." Rosie Smiled.

"That's the king of hawkins himself. Steve Harrington."
