jealousy?

After setting up the tent and the campfire everyone gathered around the fire to play some games and have fun. Except jane she was zoned out staring into the fire that's when she felt a hand brush against her, she turned to Tess and asked her what she wanted but Tess said she didn't touch her, jane frowned but then soon forgot about it and took part in the games....... after some time, everyone went back into their tents to sleep but jane couldn't get herself to sleep so she decided to go on a night stroll into the forest. She found Nathan sitting under a tree gazing at the stars. She didn't want to talk to him so she started going past him, but he said "when will you stop ignoring me jane" jane let out a deep breath and proceeded to walk away "come on jane we were best friends why did you change so much" that's where she lost it saying "I changed? *scoffs* you were the one who changed after you started going out with those jerks you call friends" she said going at him but stopped herself and turned back "please Nathan, I beg you leave me alone I don't want anything to do with you not after what happened"

Saying that she walked away. After she left a voice came from behind Nathan "damn she actually called us jerks" "feisty I like it" said one of his friends "don't even think about her she's mine" Nathan said clenching his jaw "alright man don't get mad at us" his friend said "honestly jay stop picking girls to play on and she doesn't look like a girl who will fall for your stupid love games" said another voice "why matt are you jealous that I get more chicks than you do?" jay said mocking him "it's not that you get more chicks it's because you use them and throw them like they are toys" matt said but before jay could say anything else a cold voice came saying "what are u shitheads doing here aren't you supposed to be hunting?" Lucas said "oh my mister cold shoulder is here" jay says mocking Lucas "cut the crap jay and get to work if you don't want to starve" Lucas says "alright I'm leaving" jay says and leaves. After jay and matt leave Nathan says to Lucas "what will she think when she gets to know what kind of a monster I have become" Lucas says "I think she will understand on what circumstances you became like this" "she seems mature" Lucas says "yeah she is" saying that they both left.

(ik u guys might be thinking what I mean by hunting let me give u all a backstory, so Nathan as you know has more going on in his life than just being a high school student. He has a dark secret that no one knows which is that he is a vampire and by hunting, I mean blood hunting, but the plot is that he only drinks animal blood, so he doesn't harm humans, but he wasn't really a vampire by birth he was a normal human when he was born. To know what actually happened to him and why or how he turned into a vampire u might want to read the rest of the story 😉)

After a while....

While they were peacefully drinking the blood of a deer, Nathan and his mates heard a high-pitched scream, they rushed towards the voice and what they saw horrified them. They saw a person lying under a tree unconscious.... and it was no other than jane. Nathan was horrified, he rushed towards her and tried to wake her up by tapping her cheek but to no avail she didn't wake up. Lucas went out towards the camp to get some water while the rest stayed there protecting Nathan and jane while she was still unconscious Nathan saw something weird on her arms and neck. "bruises" he whispered to himself "no wonder she's always fully dressed she's covering up her bruises" he calls out to jay "keep an eye on her for me I have a feeling something is not right" Nathan gets up from there fuming in anger and walks away. Jane flutters her eyes open and groans "hey you good? what made you faint like that?" jay asks "I'm fine, I don't know I just saw something weird, and someone hit me" jay looks at matt suspiciously, jane notices that and asks if anything is wrong, matt says "nah everything's good do you want me to walk you back to camp?" "No, it's alright I can go by myself" saying that jane heads back to camp.

In the morning....

Jane wakes up and finds Nathan sitting beside her. She gets up "hey your awake how are you feeling?" Nathan asks, "what are you doing here?" jane asks heated. "Woah calm down ma lady, your friend had to go out, so she asked me to watch you because she was worried about you after what happened last night". Jane sighs "fine now you've seen me now get out" "why I'd rather stay" Nathan says getting close to her. "Fine stay I'll leave" saying that she gets up to leave, Nathan grabs her wrist and pulls her down she falls on the sleeping bag, he gets up and leaves. She falls back on the sleeping bag and sighs "god he's so annoying ughhhhh" Tessia comes into the tent "oh your up finally c'mon it's time to go". Jane gets up and starts packing.

In the bus........

Jane and Tessia board the bus and take seats at the back of the bus. Jane plugs in her headphones and starts listening to music. She looks out the window only to see Nathan and his mates sitting beside them. Tessia offers her a piece of cake she refuses only to get scolded by her "how the hell are you not hungry you haven't eaten anything since last night" "alright stop yelling 'mom'" jane says laughing. She looks at Nathan only to see him smiling. "cute" he says to himself, but Sophia heard him and says in an annoying voice "do you think I'm cute Nathan?" saying that she giggles. He puts on his poker face again and doesn't say anything. You roll your eyes "see jane Nathan thinks I'm cute" Sophia says turning towards you and clinging to him. You just show her a smile and say, "congratulations but I bet he doesn't care he might have just said it because you cling on to him like that and he wanted to ward you off" Sophia scoffs and says "oh your just jealous that he likes me and not you" "sure." jane says and Sophia doesn't have anything to say so she goes back to clinging on Nathan, "that's my girl" he says under his breath.

After a while after they reach their school...

Jane's dad is waiting to pick her up from the bus, but jane doesn't look very happy about it. She hugs Tessia "meet in school tomorrow?" Tessia asks knowing what will happen "of course" jane says forcing a smile. She walks to her dad's car; her dad comes out of the car to take her bag and she flinches. "you're in big trouble dear daughter" her dad says while smiling. Jane looked around to see if anyone heard or saw their conversation, but she could see no one and went home. But little did she know that Nathan had heard and seen everything.
