Soon, the bell rang, and our new homeroom teacher entered the classroom.
To my surprise, it was my Aunty, Horikita Suzune.
She had been one of my father's close friends since high school, and now she would be our homeroom teacher for the next three years.
As she introduced herself, she gave me a quick glance, her formal bow making me feel a little nervous.
With a hint of a smile playing at the corners of her mouth, she introduced herself: "Good morning, everyone. I'm your Class C instructor, Horikita Suzune. I'll be teaching you Maths."
With that, she handed out materials containing the school's special rules and the admissions guide to the students sitting at the front.
As Miyake passed me the documents, I flipped through them and noticed that the contents were similar to those I had already read when I received my ANHS acceptance letter. I quickly passed the other copies back.
Next, she introduced the S System, a unique feature of ANHS.
With it, we could use our points, which were loaded onto our student ID cards, as a credit card for any of the facilities on campus, such as the karaoke spot or the theater.
However, it was imperative to keep a watchful eye on our spending habits, as the points were the only form of currency at the school.
While I was amazed to learn about this system, I realized that having an unlimited amount of money could lead to trouble if used recklessly.
As I wondered how I would manage my points, Aunt Suzune continued with the admission guide. It wasn't long before she handed us our student ID cards, each loaded with an incredible 100,000 points.
While some students were doing mental math to try and understand the amount, I glanced at my phone.
I had just gotten a new model and was enjoying it already.
Despite all this, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that gnawed at me.
The lack of contact with the outside world, the dormitories, and the fact that I wasn't allowed to leave school grounds without permission was overwhelming.
Still, the promise of a school with its own cinema, arcade, and shopping center was something I couldn't ignore. It was clear that ANHS was not like any other high school I'd have seen.
As I thought about this, Horikita continued to explain the unique features of the school, including the lack of money, the vast campus, and the S System. While the restrictions seemed daunting, I couldn't help but feel excited about the possibilities that ANHS offered.
It was clear that I, like many others, would have a lot to learn and adjust to in coming months. But I was determined to make the most of my time at ANHS.
"Alright, everyone," Horikita spoke once again. "Please make your way towards the School gymnasium. Your Entrance Ceremony will begin shortly."
With that, she turned and left the class.
The students soon gathered their belongings and began to exit the room.
Miyake turned to me and asked, "Shall we go to the Entrance ceremony together?"
"Sure," I nodded, and we both got up and exited the classroom.
The school was crowded, and students were walking in every direction, some already chatting among themselves.
Miyake and I pushed through the crowds as we made our way towards the School gymnasium, where the Entrance Ceremony was about to begin.
"Damn,They are really crowding The whole area" Miyake said as he sighed to finally manage to make his way through in
