Prolouge

I stood at the door of my room giving it one last look. The moon glowing and seeking its way into the empty room. The very room where I had lived for 17 years of my life. Tonight my family and I will be leaving New York. The bright lights and tons of huge billboards everywhere you walked. The unnecessary crowds gathering around town square. I always told myself that I would miss it here but in all honest truth I couldn't wait to leave. I've seen alot in my life. People could say I grew up to quick for my age. Well when your fatherless and being the oldest it changes you. Lost in my own thoughts I don't hear the heavy steps shift behind me.

"Ready to go?" I hear a familiar voice behind me. I didn't say anything but walked in front of the window where the moon shined down on me and not the city lights.

"Will you miss the city?" I chuckled slightly. I turn around only to be met with my brother's smile.

"Hell no. What's there to miss about anyways?" he replied. I let out a huff and made my way towards him forcing myself not to laugh back at him as I recalled the stupid memories I've grown to love now.
"We better get going Batman. Gotham needs you and we'll miss our flight." I hit his arm as he leaned against my door. Just when he was about to let out an audibly groan he was quickly interrupted by our mother downstairs yelling for us to leave.

"Sis you think the city will miss us? " O let out the laugh I've been holding in as I walked down the hallway towards the stairs. "I think it'll be just fine. Let's see what Forks has waiting for us."
