𝑃𝑙𝑎𝑦𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐷𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑒𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑠 ✧ 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘭𝘦 𝘊𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯

Monday. January 5th, 2004. Once again it was another gloomy day with the rain from last night making the air feel heavy and hot. Within the week we settled into our new house and everything was going smoothly. Until I woke up to the sound of my alarm at 5:30am.

Groaning against my pillow I zombie my way up knowing today was my first day of school or as my brother says 'Hell'. Makin my way into his room to wake him but he didn't push me away for some reason and woke up excited? I found it odd but tried not to overthink it.

"Get up losers!" I heard my mom yell and immediately went into the bathroom before anyone else did. I took my time getting ready and let my curly hair down because the curls were curling. My outfit was simple but cute. I wore a maroon short sleeve top with black jeans and obviously I had chunky black jewelry with my lovely Mary Janes.  Checkin the time, 6:30, I was at a good time to do my makeup which didn't take very long.

Finally finishing at 7:00, I head downstairs and showed off my outfit to my mom. Within seconds my brother comes down wearing a nirvana shirt with baggy jeans and his beat up adidas.

"We gotta go early. I have no idea where the hell the school is at but I'm trusting my instincts that its somewhere over there-" Hector says pointing at a random direction.

"Don't worry I know where is it. I went by it yesterday." I said in the kitchen with a pancake in my mouth. He rolls his eyes and quickly took the plate away.

"We better go, school starts before 8 and you guys still need your schedules." my mom says and grabs the keys from the counter. We head out to the car and made our way there.

"Wait, remember you guys are walking home after so be careful. I love you have fun!" our mom says when pulling up to the parking lot and we get out nervously.

We continue to walk to the entrance until we were met by a familiar face.

"Would you guys like to be famous?" the guy says but I couldn't quite remember his name.  I looked at him hard then my mind clicked.

"Eric?" I questioned and he gives me a nod.

"You guys would be front page and soon everyone would know about the new students!" he said and I quickly turned it down. But of course Hector says why not.

"Selina and Hector the chic twins." Eric stated out referring to our outfits. I give Hector a look and told Eric once again that we rather not. He gives us a mini tour of the school and guides us to the office.

"Good luck and hopefully we classes together." He smiled and began to walk away from us before we could say anything.

"He's something else..." I nodded to Hector and we both asked for our schedule in sync to the desk lady. She gives it to us with an attitude and tells us to skidaddle. I walked out of the office with Hector behind me and bump into someone. I look up to see a girl and a boy behind her who looks terrified.

"Im so sorry!" I hear her say worriedly.

"It's my bad I should have seen where I was going," I giggled nervously as the guy standing beside her was starting to freak me out.

"My name's Alice and this is Jasper my boyfriend!" she smiled and looked up at him. He gives her a side eye and then goes back to lookin at us.

"I'm Selina and this is my twin brother Hector!" I smiled back.

"Well it was nice meeting you! Truly, hope we bump into eachother again." we bid farewell and walked into the busy hallways.

"Her boyfriend? He looks like he wants to vomit all over her..." Hector whispers into my ear.

"Be polite we don't know them for all we know he could have severe anxiety. So shush and show me your classes!" I whispered back and compared our schedule. For the most part we had 2 classes together which was Gym and Government surprisingly.

"Your classes suck. We have 3rd and 5th hour together but we don't have any classes together after lunch which is 6th." I told him and brought him to his first class because I know he didn't pay attention at all when Eric gave us a tour. "Be smart not stupid. I'll see you at Gym." he flipped me off and I returned it back not caring if a teacher saw me.

For the first 2 classes I didn't recognize anyone and was mostly alone. Gym came around and I met up Hector with our borrowed uniform.

"This is so fuckin disgusting." He said with everyone  either playing volleyball or basketball. A teacher walked up to us saying we had to go play. We split up and I went to go play volleyball.

"Hey! Selina, right?" I turned around to see Jessica waving to me to join her. I groaned mentally and had no choice but to join her.

"Chloe! Your out if the ball goes out of bounds again." Jessica yelled at this blonde chick that was on the other side of the net. Not even a second later the ball went out because of her. 

"What the fu-You're out!" Jessica yelled and groaned out heavily. I see Mike walk up to us with the volleyball and rubbing his hand against his head.

"I think this belongs to you." I grabbed it from his hand and threw it to the other girls. Jessica goes up to Chloe and continues to argue with her.

"Poor girl..." I mumbled and the bell ranged. I met up with Hector after.

"You were right. I do have shitty classes," He chuckled softly.

"Told ya. Mine have been alright no one has had the guts to talk to me yet so that's really good." we continued to walk around a little bit in the busy hallways.

"I saw Mike staring at you the entire time we were playing basketball. You might have yourself a little crush." He laughed once he saw my annoyed face.

"Oh please it's nothing. He's no where near my type and he's also too young for me." I scoffed and headed towards my class.

5th period came and once again no one bother to come up to me but it couldn't be said the same for Hector. The entire time, almost all the girls in thag class had came up to him flirting which was something I was already used to.

Finally, the bell ranged for lunch and I grabbed onto his arm to pull him away from the girls.

"Thanks, they were really startin to get annoying!" Hector groans out and we soon grabbed our lunch. Not knowing where to sit we were waved by Mike and Eric to come sit with them. I met by a flash as soon as we sit down.

"Sorry, I needed a photo of you both." Angela apologized and looked at Eric. All he did was smile and then Mike looked over at us.

"So where are you guys from?" Mike asked the number one question everyone apparently wanted to hear.

"We traveled here from Chicago me and my family obviously," I replied hoping they wouldn't push further with this new information.

"Why come here? Literally I've been to Chicago once and I never wanted to leave," Jessica gasped out."It's so boring here and so gloomy." Everyone nodded and I look away for a second to see the most beautiful group of people walk into the cafeteria.

"Who are they?" I asked being mesmerized by them.

"The Cullens." Jessica replied.

GANG I HAVE DONE IT. Took me awhile to finish then expected but proud of myself to have finally get it done. I will now officially be publishing more chapters this summer so YIPPE!! Hoped you enjoyed and don't forget to eat and drink water ;) Anyways don't forget to vote. Bye lovelies ❣︎

IMPORTANT NOTE
I feel like I didnt make it clear that all this happens a year before Bella comes to Forks so it'll be awhile for her to make her way into the story but don't worry I'm not leaving her out! ;)
