(Season 3 modified) period when Lena dosen't trust Supergirl
Kara Zor-el kept secret a part of her krypton past that she never told anyone even her sister Alex.
A secret that over the years the pain grew more and more until it could no longer hide it.
Flashback by krypton :
Kara had a twin sister identical to her, during pregnancy there were pronlems and had to do a caesary at the 6th month of pregnancy.
So small
They were so small that one of them is on a palm of her mother's hand , her mother was afraid to pick them out of her arms for fear of falling out
Of her hands or that with a movement even if normal to risk breaking a bone from him as fragile they were.
The mother did not be descouraged and tried to spend as much time as possible
whit her daughters telling him fairy tales , singing good nights songs , praying Rao , saying that everything would be fine .
But there was not much time between one operation and another and from the data it was not possible to obtain a moment of serenity or long-term life data.
Doctors said Kendra had a better chance of living while Kara had very little.
2 months after the birth of the girls
Kendra died, her mother when she heard the tragic news couldn't believe she had lost her.
She was overcome with desperate tears, feeling so helpless in the face of all this, she would have given her very life to save her daughter but nothing could be done.
(I can only imagine the pain of a mother over the loss of a daughter)
When her mother went to Kendra's funeral, she was called from the hospital because she Kara was in danger of dying from the pain of losing her sister.
Kara managed to live.
She is a carefree and cheerful little girl.
At the age of 7 crypton exploded putting Kara and her little cousin Kalel in an escape pod.
Today (present)
For some time Alex had seen that Kara was no longer the same as her, this worried her because they told each other everything, she tried in every way to find out what was afflicting her sister but without success.
Kara no longer had control over her thoughts and she no longer had full control of her body.
She could no longer hide the worst part of herself, the part that she has always been ashamed of having.
In some moments it was no longer her, she was unable to recognize herself and the gestures that her body made of her.
As if she could see through her eyes but not have control over her thoughts and actions when she came out of that sort of trance (as if she had experienced something that in her eyes seemed impossible) .
She returned home destroyed and curled up on herself and cried for hours, she felt helpless in front of that part of her that she always tried to fight.
She that she now she could no longer control, she could no longer ignore the screams of her thoughts of her; when that part of her as if it were another person in the same body as hers trampling on her.
The fear that she might hurt her sister or her Lena broke her heart.
Lena to whom he never declared his love for her and which for her was more than a simple friendship.
The pain of her sister's death could no longer bear her absence.
He blamed himself as if he had killed Kendra, deep down he knew it wasn't her fault.
Supergirl/Kara:
I'm in the L-corp lab as Supergirl.
Lena: "To what do I owe this visit?!"
Supergirl: "Do I need a favor?!
Would I need some cryptonite?!
Can you create more?"
Lena: "she Ha ha ha ha, very funny.
Supergirl asking me about cryptonite, you who doubted my trust, asked to get rid of it because it's your Achilles heel.
When humans risk their lives every day between road accidents, robberies, shootings.... they carry on anyway and do not have the power to have a body as a shield from bullets, super strength or the power to fly.

Supergirl: "You're right.
I panicked, but I need it. Please?!
If it wasn't important I wouldn't ask you."
Lena: "What are you going to use it for?!"
Supergirl: "All you need to know is that I will use it to protect you and the earth."
Lena: "Okay. She'll be ready by tomorrow."
Supergirl: "Thank you"
Lena pov:
Why is Supergirl here?!
Supergirl: "All you need to know is that I will use it to protect you and the earth!"
I don't believe this statement of yours in the slightest, but I'll play along with you.
Supergirl/Kara pov:
Immediately after leaving L-corp I fly home.
As soon as I arrive I decide to take a relaxing shower to put my thoughts in order.
After an hour (5.30pm):
I start writing letters.
After about 2 hours and crumpling up the letters from the letters that didn't fit and throwing them around the room, she starts preparing dinner.
While she is busy cooking, someone rings the doorbell.
