Around 11:30 I headed to Lcorp as supergirl.
As soon as I landed on Lena's terrace I stood there observing her one last time in all her splendor.
Shortly after, Lena noticed my presence.
I lost myself in those magnetic and perfect eyes like gems.
We headed into the laboratory.
She gave me a syringe with kryptonite inside.
She didn't say anything she just looked at me.
Before I left I said goodbye to Sam
«I hope you can forgive me for not being able to save you»
I went to Lena to give her her envelope.
"Read it when I'm gone"
Lena : «It's why not now? »
Kara: «I couldn't stand your disappointed and disgusted look»
Lena still disorientated by the heroine's words.
She could barely hear the whisper she said to her.
"Excuse me"
Almost inaudible to the human ear.
Immediately afterwards Supergirl kissed Lena.
A chaste kiss, delicate as if she were a fragile object about to break at any moment.
Meanwhile some salty tears began to run down the heroine's face along with the memories of all the moments spent with Lena.
Lena pov
Initially she was petrified without being able to move a muscle.
A kiss that seemed to last an eternity but at the same time too little.
During that kiss something wet hit her cheek.
I pulled away just enough to look at her face.
The heroine in front of me is not the same one who appears smiling and indestructible to others.
She seems to carry a weight inside her that is eating her up from the inside as if it is now a risk that even a punch in the stomach could be fatal.
She has her head bowed some blonde hair covering her face and her salty tears are streaming down her face silently.
She hasn't noticed that I've moved away and that I'm watching her.
Pov kara
Suddenly I feel wrapped in a delicate but at the same time protective embrace as if she had read me inside her soul.
I try to wriggle and break away from that embrace.
A familiar hug but I don't remember how long it's been since I didn't feel so good, almost safe.
After a while I stop trying to escape with the feeling of pain inside my bones. Of being without strength.
Excuse me.
