"Someone's ringing the doorbell"
Kara not caring about her appearance and the papers scattered around the room, went to open the door without even using her X-ray vision.
When she opened the door she was faced with it
'Alex'?!?
POV Kara:
K: "Alex what are you doing here? I thought you were on a date"
A: "I wanted to spend some time with my favorite little sister! Can't I?!?"
K: "Of course you can."
They entered the house and started talking about this and that until .................
A: "Kara is burning something. Can't you smell that?!"
Damn, I completely forgot about the pot.
K: "It's true, the pot on the stove!!!!
how careless I am"
With a breath I cooled the pot and Alex couldn't hide a laugh which made Kara laugh out loud.
Pov Alex:
K: "Alex what are you doing here? I thought you were on a date"
'But what questions am I here to see how you are, hoping to find something?! '
As soon as I enter I see some sheets of paper scattered around the room and I think it's for an article for CatCo but to be safe I take one without being seen.
Talking about this and that, I smell something burning.
A: "Is Kara burning something?!"
At that question I see Kara dart towards the kitchen.
After the laughter, I'm happy to hear her laugh and I haven't heard her laugh for some time.
A: "Shall we order a pizza?"
K : "Sure 😄👍!"
In the meantime, Alex called to order the pizzas. Kara fixed up the house, making it decent without papers scattered around the room.
After eating pizza and watching a movie, it was 11.30 pm.
They said goodbye since the following day she had a very busy day of work ahead of her.
Alex returned home devastated from the work at the DEO and the evening with her sister.
She decided to take a shower to shake off the thoughts pounding in her brain.
After taking a shower she made herself some hot tea, while she waited for the water inside the saucepan to heat up she took the clothes to throw them in the dirty clothes hamper.
After drinking berry tea she went to bed.
She fell into a deep sleep cradled in Morpheus' arms.
