Chapter 10

Samantha's Pov~

As soon as Brooke started the hover board Jordain screamed. I couldn't help but laugh. Not many people know this, but we broke up for a dumb reason. That reason being James. When me and Jordain were together he would always threaten to hurt me, or rape me. No one knows that, not even Brookelle. The only reason that I never told her is because she was dating him at the time and she wouldn't of belived in me. So to keep me safe, I broke up with him. I really do regret that decision though. "Hey Sammy? You Ok?" I heard Jordain asking me, while pulling me out of my thoughts. "Yeah, just thinking bout stuff. I guess I didn't notice that we landed."

I got off the hover board and sat down on the ground. As I was sitting I couldn't help bit look at the stars, something meand Jordain did when we we're together. "Reminds me of when we were still together." Jordain said while sitting by me. "Yeah, it really does. Hey do you know where Brookelle went?"
"Yeah, she said she was going on a short walk. She should be back soon." With out thinking I laid my head on his shoulder. When I did this, I couldn't help but blush. I really really miss this. But I dout that he does. I mean I broke his heart. "Hey love birds, let's get back to the cave before James realizes that we're gone."Brookelle said, startling me.
"Brookelle, why don't you run away. You have nothing holdidng you or Samantha back."
"Yeah. I know, but I told you that we wouldnt try to run away.Now back on the hover board." We all got back on the hover board and Brooke took us back to the cave.

Luckily when we got there James was still sleeping. We all snuck into the cave and as soon as we did, Brooke fell asleep.

Jordain went over to where the fire was and put some more wood in it."Hey Samantha, you OK?" Jordain asked me,yet again.
"Yeah, I'm fine... I just really miss home. I miss Herbalist and Kally. But what I miss most of all is... Never mind it's a silly thing." I am so lucky that I didn't tell him I missed us. I mean if James heard who knew what would happen."Hey Sammy. Don't you ever think that anything you miss is silly." The only thing I could do was nod.

After awhile of sitting there I decided to move closer to the fire. I didn't realize how cold I was until I did so. As I was sitting there, I started to hum one of my favorite songs. The song that I was humming was also mine and Jordains song from when we we're dating. "Oh darling I love you so..." Jordain started to sing, quietly, along to my humming. "If you'd ask me for my heart there's no way that I'd say no" As he was singing the song I started to think. Why would I ruin my relationship for someone like James? Was he ever a real threat to me, or did I make it up all in my head? Do I really miss my relationship with Jordain, or is it all the time that we are spending together that is just making all the old feelings come back? As I was thinking these thoughts, my stomach started to growl. I heard Jordain chuckel from behind me. "I guess someones a bit hungry." He said while laughing.
"Shut up. Now do you have any food that I could have?" I asked, giving him puppy dog eyes. I knew he couldn't resist those."Yeah, I have some pop tarts or chips. Which do you want?"
"Can I have some pop tarts?"
"Yeah." Jordain walked over to his bag and grabbed us each a pack of pop tarts. After he got our pop tarts he sat by me by the fire. "So Samantha... If you don't mind me asking... Why did you break up with me?" I really wish that I would never have to tell him this, but me being me told him."Because even though James was with Brooke, he would always threaten me. He would say that if I don't break up with you then he would hurt me, or rape me. I guess I just got scared to the point that I just did what he wanted me to." I could tell by the look on Jordains face that he had mixed emotions about that.

I'm gonna guess happy because it was nothing that he did, furious because it was James fault we weren't together anymore, and some hope that we would be able to be together again. "Why didn't you tell me that he was threatening you?" He finally asked after a moment of silence. "He told me that if I told any one he would hurt them and me. I just couldn't live with myself if you, or anyone got hurt because of me. Can we please continue this discussion outside? I don't want Brooke or James to hear us talking about this."
"Sure, let's go." Jordain stood up, then helped me up and we walked out if the cave. When we got out there, I noticed how the sun was starting to rise. "Sammy, you could of told me. I would of never let him hurt you."
"I know, but I didnt want to risk it. I mean, what if he would of had a weapon when he found out that I told you. I mean there was just so much at risk that I couldn't" after I told him that I yawned and laid my head down on Jordains lap. "Are you tired?" Jordain asked me while running his hands through my hair. "Yeah, and I'm probably not going to get much sleep because James will want us up early."
"Hey if your tired close your eyes and go to bed." I was about to move my head off his lap when he said "Don't, the ground will hurt your head. Use my legs as a pillow." I put my head back down then fell asleep hoping that James won't find us like this.
