The Sad Truth

Of Course no matter how beautiful it looked from the outside, if you dig deeper the ugly side can be seen.

Just like that the crew followed in Noctis and Henry told them after Luffy questioned him the truth.

"That man isn't the real William..."

silence filled the small hut...

Nami and Usopp's jaw reached the wooden floor and Chopper jumped on Zoro.

Sanji's and Robin's eyes narrowed. Brook and Franky had their eyes widen. Luffy's face couldn't be seen, his straw hat was covering his eyes.

"The real William has gone missing since the day he went to the altar at the day, at night I went to look for him, and found the false William. I noticed instantly that he wasn't the William I knew. The real William's voice was much deeper and he had silver hair that shone under the sun, not white hair people get from aging. So I put Noah to keep him in check. Although that man has been collecting Argentia Bloosom, those shiny flowers since he arrived he hasn't done anything suspicious. And I haven't found anything about William. I go every night to search for him, and no clue, it has already been a whole year. Like he disappeared in thin air."

Henry recalled the memory of climbing every night to find his missing lover, only to return and be greeted by a person who looked similar to his lover. He hasn't been able to sleep peacefully, every day he misses the other half, with whom he took care of this peaceful place. 

"But why do you go up at night, may I ask why?"

"Only the village chiefs can go up, and those from Noctis can't go under the sun even while covering everything they will burn to ashes."

Nami was about to ask why Noah could go to Sol knowing that his ancestors are from Noctis.

"Except this pair of this pair of siblings. Those both can go to Sol freely, but their skins get burned and hurt easily even from moonlight."

"So that's why they wear those weird masks."

"They are not weird."

"Right..."

This did explain why Noah stiffened when he talked about William. 

But where could the man disappear to other than building a ship? With a raft, that man wouldn't been able to cross all those waves. 

He might be dead, but where is his corpse? It can't just be eaten in a day where no wild animals are. After exploring the forest, most of the animals were herbivores and birds.

"Maybe he got lost just like Zoro!"

"Not everyone is as stupid as you and Zoro."

"Hey don't get lost, it's just that the walls move."

"Marimo, the walls don't move it just your sense of direction is shitty!"

The mood successfully became lighter. Those around Luffy tend to feel warmth and feel lighter just by seeing him. And the atmosphere lightens. 

A small smile appeared on Henry's face, but it disappeared as quickly as it appeared. 

"Then let's go to that guy, ask him, and then we can find the real William!"

 "Maybe we can torture him to get answers."

"Yohoho, Robin-san is so scary."

"Robin-san is so pretty!"

Luffy and Zoro walked out of the door...
