I look at the final notice pinned on my door.

I hate my boss, I hate my boss so much.

I was just fired and came home to see that I have 1 week to get the rent money to my landlord or I'm out.

And it doesn't help that I now have no job, if I don't find something soon then I'll be living on the streets.

"It's like I just can't catch a break" I groaned as i sort through my keys, trying to find the one to open my door.

I step inside my apartment and sigh.

"I really need to clean this place up" I close and lock my door and go inside

Ring ring ring

My phone rings and I pick it up to see my friend Kennedy calling.

I dry my eyes out and try to make it seem like I'm not upset about anything, I answer, "hey, wassup"

"Nothing much I just felt like calling you....are you okay"

Busted...

"Yeaaaah, nope. I just got fired and I got a notice on my door saying if I don't pay my rent in a week then I'm evicted" I sigh

"Oh, no that's aweful, I can't believe your boss would do that, he even knew you were struggling"

"I know, and literally no one's hiring right now, I don't know what I'm gonna do"

my eyes get a little teary but I hold them back out of pure embarrassment.

"Y'know, you could always come back to live with me in Germany, I know you said you didn't want to, but maybe its best" she said

I thought about it, I moved away from Germany years ago and went to the Netherlands.

I left Germany for new career choices but clearly that's not working out.

"Fine, if I don't find any job applications by 2 days, then I'll come live with you, temporarily " I said with a sigh.

I really don't wanna go back to Germany but if I can't find any work here than there's no point in staying.

"YAAAAAAY!!!, oh I mean, uuuuhhh. Great I hope you find a job you like soon" she tried to hide her excitement

Kennedy hated when I moved away, even though she supported it

"Psssh, real funny asshole" I laugh as I say my goodbyes and hang up.

I throw off my shirt and take off my shoes.

"I need a showeeeerr" I groan as I shuffle to my bathroom.

I undress completely then turn the water on

Only problem is, there's no water. My greasy ass landlord must've turned it off.

"Uugghh seriously!"

I grab my dirty clothes and throw them into the basket, I decide to just skip the shower and eat dinner instead.

"Stupid work"

I walk to my kitchen as I put on clean clothes

"Stupid landlord"

I open the fridge and grab the leftover spaghetti from the other night.

"Stupid boss"

I put the cold spaghetti on a paper plate and don't even bother microwaving it.

I plop onto the couch and look for job applications on my phone near me.

"Nope....no...notta" I say as I scroll through the areas near me

"Bro why tf is no one hiring!!!" I say as I scroll to the last of the locations.

I throw my phone on the other side of the couch.

"What am I gonna do?" I rub my temple's

Knock knock knock

"I swear to god"

I get up and shuffle to my door.

I open it and see me landlord.

"Well hello there Daniel"

"Hello y/n"

"....."

"....."

"You know why I'm here y/n"

"I know why you're here"

"Yup"

"You're here cuz your mom is a slut!"

I slammed the door in his face.

I hate this place so much, I just wish everything could pause and id have some time to myself for once.

"Forget this, I'm going with Kennedy!"

I storm to my room and pack my bags

I don't have many clothes so it's only a duffle bag full.

I grab all my things my phone, books, brush, ect.

I finished packing and grabed my phone, I dial Kennedy's number and call her.

"Wassup y/n?"

"I'm coming to Germany, tomorrow."

"Oop.....I'll get my guest bedroom ready"

"Great, see you there"

I hang up the phone and look around at my empty bedroom.

"How tf am I gonna afford a plane ticket" I say out loud.
