Jim opened his eyes and looked at his surroundings and saw that he was laying a street of gold. "Where the hell am I?"
"You're in heaven, Jim." Jim looked above him and saw Ryan standing over him with a gentle smile.
"Welcome home." Ryan greeted as he stretched out his hand and helped Jim back on his feet. "Ryan, is that real you?" Jim asks tearfully. "Yes Jim it's me." Jim wrapped his arms around Ryan and hugged him tightly. "I thought I'll never get to see you again." Jim said as he cried with joy. "Me too." The two men embrace each other with a smile on their face.
"Come on, let me show you around and please tell me everything." Ryan grabs Jim's hand and pulls him. Ryan showed Jim everything that was in heaven: the gold building, the Three of Life, his own house, and many other people that were there. "I never realized how beautiful Heaven was." Jim said. "I know I thought the same thing when I got here." Ryan replied.
Jim and Ryan continued to walk until they sat down on a golden bench. "So Jim, what happened while I was gone?" Ryan asks eager to hear Jim's story. "Well things started off miserable for me ever since you left." Jim began. "That was until I met somebody special."
"Oh, what is this special person's name?" Ryan asks with a twinkle in his eyes. "His name is Mason, he's everything I could ask for." Jim said.
"Tell me more about Mason." Jim continued to tell Ryan everything about Mason and how they first met and other things about him. "He sounds like a charmer kinda guy." Ryan chuckled. "So not only you're gay but you're also a furry." Jim never really thought about the fact that he was a furry but he was proud of it.
"Ryan, I have something I have to ask you." Jim said. "Of course Babe." Ryan replied as he placed his hand on Jim's lap. "Why didn't you tell me that you have AIDS?" Ryan's smile faded away from his face. "Jim, I'm sorry that I didn't tell you when I was still alive. I just didn't want to worry you."
"Ryan, you could have told me. Yes I would have been worried for you, but I would have done everything I could to make you happy no matter what." Jim said
"I know you would Jim but I just felt like I've lived a good life."
"Ryan you were only thirty years old when you passed away. How is that a good life?" "Because..I don't know..I just..." Ryan put his hand up to his face and began to cry.
"Jim, I was drinking drugs and taking pills." Jim was shocked and overcome with grief.
"Why were you doing that?" Jim cried.
"Because I was miserable." Ryan replied.
Jim found that very hard to believe. "My family never accepted me for who I am. Not just with me coming out gay but with me in general. They've all thought I was wired and crazy for loving a man and my parents just pure hated me." Ryan said, looking at Jim and wiping his eyes. The two men sat there staring at each other before Ryan grabbed his hand.
"But enough about me, come on, I want you to meet someone else." Ryan took Jim to the throne room where the Son of God sat on his golden throne. Jim's eyes widened when he saw the Son of God sitting on his throne.
"Hello Jim." he sweetly said. Jim felt his hand begin to shake. The Son of God walked down from his throne and toward Jim and placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Jesus?!"
"Yes Jim it's me." Jim began to cry and gave Jesus a hug.
"It's so good to have finally met you in person." Jim said. "It's good to have finally met you too." Jim looked back at Ryan and smiled at him. Suddenly Jim heard someone crying. "Um Lord, who is that crying?" Jesus led Jim and Ryan to a bowl full of water. He taps the water with his finger and it turns into a watcher. Jim gasped when saw the person that was crying.
