Has Cooking Always Been Fun?

Well Weiss and Ruby finally moved in next door. What fun! Now me and Blake have to go into hiding in our own home. I looked over to Blake. She was making a bunch of tuna based foods. Totally not suspicious at all. But, it could also mean she's obsessed with Tuna.

I strutted over to Blake who was reading a recipe. "Whatcha doing Blakey?" I asked placing my hands on my hips. She seemed to be really focused on that recipe book of hers.

Blake kept mumbling the ingredients. Obviously trying to sound them out. She was doing pretty good. "Making dinner. I thought we could have Weiss and Ruby over. You know since they spent the entire day unpacking. They maybe too tired to eat."

I couldn't help but squeal. As much as she comes off as a cold hearted bitch. It was pretty clear on how much she cared about everyone even if she didn't admit it. She rolled her eyes at me before setting the book down. She started scouring the kitchen for the ingredients. This was gonna be a while.

Luckily she knew what a can of tuna looked like. I had to help her find all the other ingredients. As I helped her gather the ingredients, I didn't feel comfortable with letting her cook by herself on her first time. The last thing we needed was to move in with sis and her wife.

"Let me help you cook. When you get good at it I'll let you do it on your own promise." I tried using my most persuasive voice. I could tell she was a little disappointed by the way her ears flattened. It made me feel a little bad that I crushed her independence like that. But, she didn't refuse.

Cooking with her was a lot of fun. We made a little mess but it was nothing we couldn't clean up. We even kissed a few times. She kissed me on her own twice. Is this what it was like to be with a lover? If it was I enjoyed it. The doorbell rang right when dinner was ready. Time to go incognito.
