chapter 1

valerie was sitting on her bed doing some homework for extra credit that was until someone opened her bedroom window. she looked up to see the one and only billy loomis. she looked up at him with a face of fear.

"hey val sorry if i scared u" billy said with a warming smile. "what are u doing" he said looking down at the paper in her hand.

"extra credit i really need to pass this class even tho the teacher hates my guts" valerie said writing on a paper.

"what class?" billy asked

"writing class" she said

his eyebrows moved together confussed "ur great at writing why would u fail"

"billy im good at writing things that happens in my life not about school" valerie said. billy nodded and started looking at her room. he looked on her nightstand and saw a bag of weed.

"u smoke weed?" the boy asked.

" i smoke more then weed billy" valerie answered.

"wanna go smoke in ur car." billy asked grabbing the bag of weed off valeries nightstand.

"of couse i do im always down for a little smoke trip" she says hopping up off her bed. she grabs a hoodie and trows it over her head. she walked over to her nightstand and billy moved out of her way so she could get whatever she needed to get. she grabbed her phone and keys. she walked over to her closet and grabbed a shoe box.

billy looked at her confussed as he watched her to see what was in the box. valerie opened the box to reveal a bong,liquor,a bottle of unknown pills,and rolling papers. billys eyes widen. he tried to get a better look at the pills but she closed the box to fast. she had rolling papers in her hand. she sat the box back in the top of her closet and closed the door. she walked over to her bed and grabbed her strawberry lemonade vape.

she walked down the stairs with billy following right behind her. she slowly opened the front door. her parents were sleeping upstairs in the room next to hers. if they found out a boy was here or that she smoked she would go through hell.

she succsesflly got the door opened without her parents waking up. right when they walked over to the white jeep billy got a text. valerie wanted to know who it was so when billy got his phone out to see who texted him she asked "who is it."

billy looked over at valerie with a shit eating grin. "why u want to know u jealous" he replied making valerie lightly blush.

"in ur dreams" valerie said while watching to road. she was jealous like very jealous. she knew billy had a girlfriend sidney that she hated. valerie hated sidney along with most people at school. no one could stand sidney. valerie questions why billy would date sidney. out of all poeple in their school it had to be sidney. "why didnt u go to sidneys house i mean she is ur girlfriend" valerie spoke up.

"i wanted to see u" billy answered. even tho valerie had been in the friend group for a few months her and billy have been really close friends for a very long time. they first met in 4th grade and shortly after that they were best friends. her and billy met stu in 7th grade. but when they got to high school they drifted apart. the boys got girlfriends and valerie was kinda just left alone. she tried dating people at the school but it never seemed to work out. after a year or so of trying she just gave up on dating people.

"billy shes ur girlfriend." billy looked at valerie. his smirk fell and he looked out the window

"look i know i have a girlfriend valerie but i dont want that to be the end of out friendship u r my best fucking friend i cant loss u to some stupid girlfriend i need u val" billy said with sadness and anger in his voice. valerie took a second before speaking. she never knew she meant that much to someone. Right when she was about to say something she got a call. her heart sank to her toes when she seen who the call was from.
