chapter 2

valerie pulled up at school the next day wearing a baggy shirt and some cargo pants. she parked her jeep and got out. when she got out billy saw her and walked over. she had tear stained eyes that only billy could see. he knew it had to do with her dad since she got home pretty late last night. "hey billy" she said with a smile. billy knew it was fake tho but he just smiled back. "wheres sidney?" valerie asked the boy that was now walking right beside her.

"shes ganna be late today but come over here" billy repiled walking to a part of the school no one was at. he needed to make sure she was ok. he didnt want her hurting herself no more so he would do every thing in his power to stop her from doing things like that. once they got to the side of the school he asked in a anger tone. "valerie what did ur dad do to u when u got home last night"

"he was asleep when i got home billy nothing happened" she lied.

"dont lie valerie i can tell when ur lying" billy said.

"fine billy u want to know the truth so bad heres the truth when i got home my dad was shit face drunk, he beat me for hours i didnt get no sleep and i had to wear a whole lot of fucking makeup just to cover it up there billy thats the fucking truth" valerie said with so much pain in her voice. billys eyes got dark a mix between saddness and anger.

"valerie im so sorry i just wanted to know-" billy was saying until valerie cut him off.

"no billy its fine im fine i dont want to hear the whole im sorry story been there done that it didnt end well for me" and with that valerie walked away getting lost in the crowd.

"shit" billy said to him self.

time skip to lunch

valerie was walking down the hall while looking at her phone. she walked out the school doors to see her friend group sitting on the fountain. she walked over putting her phone in her back pocket. "valerieeeee" stu yelled while standing up and holding his arms out. she jumped in them playing alone to his little game like he wanted her to. she thought nothing of it but the other girls at the fountain did.

"hey stu" she said as he sat her back on the ground. "u miss me."

"i always miss u" he replied with a smile that went to his eyes. she smiled back and walked over to the fountain. she sat down away from both the boys but they both walked over to her and sat on each side of her. their girlfriends looked at her with a bitch face. she just smiled laying her head in billys lap and her legs in stus.

"valerie can we talk to u alone" sidney asked.

"i just got comfortatle not right now maybe never" valerie replied with a smirk while crossing her legs in stus lap.

"come on just come with us we need to talk to u" tatum said standing up.

"what are we going to be talking about" valerie asked the girls.

"come and u will find out" sidney said.

"ill pass thanks for the offer tho" valerie said while standing up. "im skipping the rest of the day i have better things to do like nothing"

"ima text u later" billy said. valerie nodded and walked off. she put her backpack in her car hours ago. right when she got to her car billy texted her. the text said "wait on me around the corner ill be there in about 20 mins" billy could see her still so she just nodded. she got in her jeep and turned it on along with the air. she road around the corner and parked the jeep leaving it on. she got out her phone and scrolled through her messages waiting on billy. after about 10 mins of waiting and scrolling on her phone a loud thud came from her passenger window. she looked up to see billy. she unlocked the door letting him in. he hopped in the passenger seat.

time skip at valerirs house with billy

"hey babydoll can i stay the night ur parents aint here and my dads on a trip" billy asked as he watched valerie finish a essay.

"why u scared billy that big house all alone" valerie says making her vioce sound creepy.

"no i just wanna be here i like ur room" billy said smiling. his smile made valerie smile.

"yea okay u can stay here" valerie spoke up. "u dont have clothes tho what u ganna sleep naked?"

"i mean u want me to" billy said with a shit eating grin.

valerie laughed "u can sleep in ur underwear but u have to have something on" valerie said making billys smirk grow.

"alright i can deal with that" billy said. "what do u sleep in?" he asked.

"i sleep in a oversized shirt and a thong but tonight im sleeping in a shirt and pants or shorts" valerie answered.

"no no no a shirt and thong is fine" billy said.

"ur girlfriend would kill u and try to kill me"she said.

"she wont find out" billy replied fast. "please for me"

"billy i dont know i mean i hate showing poeple my scares and u would see them all night" valerie said looking down.

"i wont look at them" billy said softly. "i promise"

"ugh fine" valerie gave in.

"YES" billy shouted.

"i need to shower" valerie says walking over to her closet. she gets a oversized shirt and a pair of thongs. they were red and had kisses all over them. she walked into the bathroom that was in her room and shut the door.

after her shower

valerie got out the shower grabbing for a towl but there wasnt one. 'oh shit' she thought to herself. "billy is there a towl on my bed?" valerie asked billy. she opened the door a little sticking her head out the little opening.

"yea" he said looking at her and picking up the towl. he threw it at her she went to grab it but it fell right in front of her. she looked at it then at billy. he slowly walked over to her and the towl. he grabbed the towl handing it to her. she grabbed the towl and wrapping it around her body.

"thank u billy" she said before closing the door. after about 5 mins valerie walked out in a shirt and a thong just like billy begged. "hey" valerie said walking over to her bed. billy was sitting on the end of the bed.

"hey babydoll" billy said putting his head in valeries lap. "will u read me one of ur poems?" billy asked.

"well this aint a poem but i wrote it" valerie said. "This not the stab that hurts, it's when u turn around and see who's holding the bloody knife"

''so true" billy said looking at the white wall. "how long have u been writing" billy asked.

"like 10 years i started when i was 7" valerie said. she looked over at her nightstand hoping her vape was there. it was. she grabbed it putting it to her lips.

"can i hit it" billy asked with his hand out. she nodded placing the vape in billys hand. he put it to his lips hitting it. "what flaver is this val" billy asked.

"strawberry lemonade" she replied taking the vape back. "its getting late ima go to sleep'' valerie said laying down with billy still in her lap. he got up and layed next to her. he wanted to hold her but didnt know how she would feel about it. 'fuck it' he thought to himself. he grabbed her waist pulled her closer to him. she turned over throwing a leg over him and tucked her head in his chest.
