1) A is a mob boss whom is dating someone who is somewhat innocent. Their partner has no clue they're in the mob and isn't a huge fan of violence themselves. That being said B absolutely loves A and enjoys being spoiled by them.
2) A and B work in opposing mobs. One day A's mob gets taken down and B offers to Sapir them if they agree to become their personal assistant.
3) A owes a bit of money to the mob but can't quite afford to pay it back so they try coming up with other forms of payment.
