1) Vampires and werewolves are known enemies and had been for centuries. That being said the Pack Leader's son/daughter/child and the Vampire king/queen's son/daughter/child had been sneaking off to see each other for years and were in love. (For non smut scenarios perhaps the vampire or werewolf decides to run off with the other. For smut scenarios one of them could end up getting pregnant and decides to run off with the other to avoid the judgement of their own kind.)
2) A is an alpha/omega werewolf who ends up being a roommate with B whom happens to be a vampire.
