Ugh! Why her? Why now?! Wrong timing! Wrong timing!
"S-Shel, I-It's Katy." Ray stuttered.
"Dude I know, I can see it pretty clearly." I replied.
Katy just gave me a huge grin, flipped her hair and walked as fiesty as a fox towards me. Tyler just sat there and watched what's gonna happen.........Ugh! I say that like my life's a show or movie you should tune in! Psh! Gyaaaaahhhh!
"HAHAHA..Hey there....Shelby. Long time no see. How'd your 'singing' career go?" she asked as she goes nearer and nearer to me.
I try my best not to look at her gaze.
"Oh yeah! I bet you dont even have a career. Too shy to show your talent....well, if there was ever any?" she mused.
"Wait you know each other?!" Suzzane interrupted.
"SSsshhhh Zaney. So Shelby, has your voice grown nice yet or....do you still sound like a screaming elephant?" she teased.
Ugh! I hate you Katy! I can feel my hands ball up into fists as she circles me.
"You sing?" Suzzane interrupted again.
"Katy stop it!" I said to Katy as I ignore Suzzane's question.
"Tsk! Oh yes Suzzane she does! -----" Katy was about to say something when Tyler butted in.
"Yes she does sing." Everyone was quiet when Tyler spoke.
"I heard her sing once. She was very good." he added. Tyler and I shared stares for a brief moment. I avert my gaze at him and back at Katy. She looked very pissed at Tyler's contradiction. Though I owe him for that.
"Well then, she must be bloody amazing if someone, like Tyler Knight to give her a compliment like that." Terence said.
I saw Ray smile.
"TSK! Really? Prove it then. Sing for us Shelby." Katy insisted. Oh, no..."I-I" I stuttered then looked at Ray. "ALONE" Katy said with exaggeration.
"No problem. Then she will, let's go to the mic. shall we?" Tyler said as he dragged me to the mic. Ray ran towards me and said, "Relax Shel, I know you can do it."
"I really hope I can" I whispered to myself.
As I hold the mic. I begin to think what I should sing...Everyone's eyes were all fixed at me. Ugghhh! What do I sing?
Hmmm.... Katy thinks Im a loser..... ahhhh okay. I know what Im gonna sing.
"Be quick for peeps sake!" Katy insisted.
Tsk! I tap the mic first to see if its working.
Shelby: "Mic. test...here it goes"
(Now playing: Loser like me by glee)
Shelby: *Looks at Katy*
