"N! Wake up now!"

N had to wake up in the morning with this sound.

"It's 11 o'clock. What? Didn't you sleep enough?"

It was her mother. There was no need to respond. This was one of the ordinary events of almost every day. But as someone who just woke up, it was hard to bear the noise, so N had to respond.

"I'm already awake!"

It wasn't a lie, she was almost awake. It would be inappropriate to try to stay asleep anyway.

She sat in her bed with her eyes open. She was used to getting up late because she did not like to sleep at night. Instead, she preferred to look up at the ceiling and dream, or to think about her empty life. The nights reminded of all the misfortunes of the day. It was impossible to prevent it.

Finally she got out of bed and put on her clothes. She began to comb her short hair in front of the mirror.

N was a sixteen year old girl, but she looked younger and she had to remember it once again that she was a short girl while standing in front of this mirror every morning. She already got used to it, but it was still one of the things that disturbed her mood in the morning.

After washing her face and waking up, she went into the kitchen for breakfast. As soon as she entered the kitchen, she saw her mother, sister and brother, who had already finished their breakfast.

Four people lived in the house. N, her mother, her sister C, (N didn't like her that much) and her brother M (They got along well because he was only 7). Her father was almost absent because he worked abroad. Sometimes her family contact with him by a telephone, but it still didn't make much of a difference.

Her mother was wiping the kitchen door with a small towel. Her mother was neither fat nor thin, of medium height, and looked a little angry.

Her brother was still eating and her sister was standing on the side.

"Why are you so late? Don't you know that our guests will come today? I warned you yesterday" as soon as she came in, her mother told her.

Without saying any word, she approached the table and sat in front of her brother. She was still a little sleepy.

"Why do you need so much cleaning?" said N, in a tired voice.

"I'm too busy to teach you about cleaning." said her mother, wiping the door handle wearily.

"How could she know that? She doesn't even clean her room. I'm cleaning hers too..." said her sister C, leaning against the cabinet.

N looked at her and rolled her eyes.

C was 12 years old. Both in appearance and character, she looked almost the same age as N. N didn't like her that much. She was younger than N, but her behavior was much like an adult and it was driving N crazy.

Sometimes she wondered why she was so irritated. It seemed to her that the reason for the conflict between them was that C's character was completely different from her, or it's just because of the four age difference between them. At that moment, 7-year-old M came to her mind.

He was younger than N, but N had no problem with him. M was a completely normal child. N loved him. But according to N, it was because he was only 7 years old. Because when C was still a child, she wasn't so irritated.

C was already teenager, and that probably meant that her character was likely to change. According to N, people could change over the years or as a result of certain events.

N herself was considered one of these people. A few years ago, several great events took place in her life. Like everyone else, she had changed a lot as a result of these events, or N thought so. According to N, a number of accidents that made her life meaningless...
