Ash's Story (Part 4: Kanto and Unova)

Chapter 2

As an Arceus, it is possible for me to use Double Team and create another self of mine. Because of this, my father decided to give me a mission for my second self. I named myself N because it feels natural to me.

In my N form, I was sent to Unova and was adopted by Ghetsis after he found me in the forest talking to Pokemon. Ghetsis is the Leader of Team Plasma, and he is the reason why I have my N disguise. After I was seemingly adopted by him, he wanted me to become the King of Team Plasma.

He introduced me to the Seven Sages, the other six are named Gorm, Bronius, Rood, Zinzolin, Giallo, and Ryoku. Of all the sages, Rood is the one that I get close with, because he's really nice, while the other sages are more like Ghetsis' underlings. And while I'm educated by the seven sages, Ghetsis also brings two people with me. Their names are Anthea and Concordia, Anthea means the Goddess of Love, while Concordia means the Goddess of Peace.

While we're alone, the two of them reveal to be Lillie and Minami in disguise. Both of them wanted to make sure that I didn't forget who I was. They are willing to suffer with me and I'm grateful. Ghetsis sometimes brings us Pokemon for us to play with, but those Pokemon are actually mistreated by humans. We are angry at the fact that some people just mistreat Pokemon since they don't deserve the hate and mistreatment. But we know that it is Ghetsis' plan to make us believe that humans and Pokemon should be separated.

And unlike my Ash self, I was forced to stay in my room in the castle for most of the time until I was old enough. To endure this pain, I sometimes link myself with my other self, Ash, and see through the other self's eyes and memories. After I was old enough, I was crowned the king of Team Plasma and I was sent on a quest to befriend one of the Legendary Pokemon of Unova: The Dragon of Truth: Reshiram.

Even though I have Anthea and Concordia by my side, our actions are still watched by the Team Plasma members. They claim to follow us because of our safety, but what they don't know is that we can use telepathy to talk to each other.

"I wonder when we can actually go back to our real selves... we've been staying in Team Plasma for five years..." Anthea says to me.

"I know... but it is a good thing that sometimes we can just go through the memories of our other selves." Concordia says. "There are also some mistreated Pokemon when they're traveling, but in the end, there are some good trainers who take care of Pokemon."

I say, "Team Plasma doesn't seem like an evil organization... they seem to be more like Team Alpha. But looks can be deceiving, I still think Ghetsis is plotting something evil..."

I also notice the Pokemon by my side, and it's a Zorua. The mother of the Zorua is taken to a city known as the Crown City, and she is painted as a bad guy by a businessman named Grings Kodai. After stopping him from getting Celebi's powers, Zoroark died and she asked me to take care of this little one.

Right now I'm in Accumula Town because my foster father, Ghetsis, is trying to give a speech to the people around the area. He says, "My name is Ghetsis. I am here representing Team Plasma. Today, ladies and gentlemen, I would like to talk to you about Pokémon Liberation."

"Huh?" "What?" The others are confused as to what Ghetsis is up to.

"I'm sure most of you believe that we humans and Pokémon are partners that have come to live together because we want and need each other. However... Is that really the truth? Have you ever considered that perhaps we humans... only assume that this is the truth? Pokémon are subject to the selfish commands of Trainers... They get pushed around when they are our "partners" at work... Can anyone say with confidence that there is no truth in what I'm saying?"

"Yikes!" "I don't know..." "No way."

"Now, ladies and gentlemen, Pokémon are different from humans. They are living beings that contain unknown potential. They are living beings from whom we humans have much to learn. Tell me, what is our responsibility toward these wonderful beings called Pokémon?"
