"Granie, are you sure you don't need anyone to accompany you?" Justin asked as he unload my suitcase from the car's compartment "Sydney is literally far from San Francisco"

"Thanks Justin, but I can do it by myself" and I gave him a little smile

We're here in the airport and in just a couple of hours, I'll be flying to Sydney. Yes, Sydney, Australia.

"You sure?"

I just nod as an answer.

"Okay then, I'll see you in the next two days, Granie!" He hugged me and gave me a smack kiss on my right cheeks "I'm happy for you. I know you've been waiting for this to happen since you were 14"

"And it's finally happening" a water was formed in my eyes. I just can't hide how happy I am right now.

"So as I said, I'll see you on Thursday, Granie! Good luck and take care okay? Please don't forget to take your medicines"

"I won't" I replied and smiled at him "Anyway, I need to go inside. I might miss my flight and this once in a lifetime opportunity as well"

We gave each other our last hug and goodbyes.

"Keep an eye on your children and your wife as well, okay?"

"Yes Grandma! Bye! Take Care, love you!" He waved his hand and I waved mine too.

I'm Emily, 82 years old. And that man was Justin, my nephew's son.

I never got married. I grew up until this age alone. If you are wondering why, it's because back then I believe that I'm going to marry one of the dorks. Those that I am going to meet today. But life is so unfair and I'm just very unfortunate and wasn't able to marry them.

Yes, it's pretty funny to hear but what can I do? I'm a big fan of them.

As I reached the departure area, I quickly searched for a vacant seat. I can't barely walk but still able to pull my suitcase with me.

This is the moment I've been waiting for my whole life. All the years of sitting around my laptop, crying over them at night, had eventually come to a close.

The posters came down, and the merchandise was packed away and yet, the memories are still so fresh in my mind.

The time flew so fast and I haven't noticed that it was already my departure time.

I sat on the plane, tapping my foot as I stare out the window waiting for my arrival to Sydney.

More than half a day has passed and we finally landed.

Once I checked into my hotel with only my 2 day bag accompanying me, I exit the hotel and take a cab.

Before we go straight to my destination, I asked the driver to pull me over to a flower shop to buy 4 boquets of various flowers.

As I went back in the cab, the driver asked me "Where is our next stop, Ma'am?"

"Rookwood Cemetery please"

He nod and took the road to cemetery.

I shed a few tears in the car and in just a while, I simply gave the driver the money and step out onto the sidewalk.

My hands begin to shake as I finally reach the 4 tombstones, aligned side by side, kneeling onto the ground.

"You idiots" I murmured and smiled. Even if they are 6 feet under, they still had the ability to make me smile.
