WEDNESDAY ADDAMS LOVED HALLOWEEN FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. Not only was she named after an iconic Halloween character, but she also grew up in Salem Massachusetts. She was told hundreds of stories growing up about the history of the town and the creatures that had passed through it, but there was one tale that stuck with the down and captured their attention, especially on the holiday.
The story of the Sanderon sisters.
These three witches occupied the town three hundred years ago, and they used to eat children in exchange for immortality and looking young. However, one Halloween night, the death of young Emily Binx caused the town to revolt. They captured the witches and tried to hang them.
However, Winifred had cast a spell so that they would only be dead temporarily. They would come back to life when someone lit the Black Flame Candle on Halloween night. For hundreds of years, the town was safe from their reign of terror.
That was until the airhead by the name of Max Dennison came to town and screwed everything up.
