THEY ARRIVED AT THE PARTY THAT THE DENNISON PARENTS WERE AT. Needless to say, it was packed. Almost every single adult in the town was at this party. That is, those who were not at Allison's parent's party and the Addams family parents, who were at a seance a little bit out of town. Max groaned when he saw all of the people in the room. "Ah, great. How are we ever gonna find Mom and Dad in this place?"
"I'm gonna look for Mom," Dani informed them, and she walked off into the party. Realizing that they probably should not let her wander around alone with the witches on the loose, Freddy and Allison bounded after her.
Max spun around frantically, wondering which direction to start looking first, and Wendy tried to calm him down. He really needed to chill because his freaking out would cloud his thinking. He jumped in excitement when he saw a man in a vampire costume standing behind them. "Oh. Dad!"
"It's not Dad. It's 'Dadcula,'" the man joked, and the brunette girl giggled slightly at the joke as Max rolled his eyes at his father's antics since there was something serious going on. The man notice Wendy's presence, and his attention shifted to her. "Oh, my goodness. Who must this charming young blood donor be?"
"Dad! Something terrible happened," the Dennison boy exclaimed, waving his hand in front of his dad's face to get his attention. They had much bigger problems than who Wendy was. There were three witches out there somewhere that were willing to kill for the book that Allison was in possession of.
Max's dad's face dropped, and he lost his Dracula voice as it was replaced with a concerned one. "Dani? What's wrong?"
"No, Dani's fine," his son assured him, and before he could say anything else. The other half of their group came running over alongside a woman dressed like Madonna. Wendy assumed that this was Mrs. Dennison.
The woman looked to all of them, confused as to why there were three teenagers that she did not know hanging out with her daughter. She also seemed to be a bit angry that they were feeding her children 'lies' and scaring them about the Sanderson sisters. "What is going on? These kids and Dani just started rambling about some witches."
"Dani, it's okay, honey. I'm sure they are just joking," the man told his daughter, patting her on her head comfortingly. She immediately brushed him off, and started yelling, insisting that the witches were real. This started an argument within the whole family, and the other three teenagers were unsure of whether they should step in or mind their own business.
