A scene right out of a horror movie.

That's what anyone who'd witnessed whatever had just happened, would call it. Even the cat that was once calmly sitting on top of the trash can, licking its paw before it jumped off, hissing in horror as it ran away.

It all happened when a young girl had embarked on a journey. To find four turtles. The last she saw them was... a while ago. Like, it had been very, very long. The reason for this very necessary meet-up was that one of them had left something of theirs to her. And, as a good person would, as her father told her, she had to return the pair of glasses.

Where was she to find them? Well...

One thing the girl hadn't forgotten about her first encounter with the strange creatures, aside from the sadness of seeing them leave so terrified, was where they'd gone. Exactly where they'd gone. In an alleyway. Inside the manhole. Now, as young as she was, she knew there were... a lot of manholes all around. Hence, what she did... was find the nearest manhole to her house and wait there day and night- well, once every week, during the night of course, when everyone at home was long asleep.

So, one night, she waited at the manhole, its cover slightly pushed to the side. The alleyway was engulfed by the darkness of the night. Only the street light right outside, provided some help to her sight, illuminating whatever of the dark it could.

The fear of getting in trouble, getting taken away by some random guy with candy, or an evil supervillain showing up, gone. Y/N had arrived fully prepared. A water gun was kept beside her crouched form, this one actually filled with water. Her face was barely visible through the helmet she'd worn, twice the size of her head. She was squatted before the manhole, staring at the darkness inside with a hardened gaze. Usually, she'd stand a bit further away from there but, today her body was slightly weak against the heavy weight resting on her head.

F/N was gonna be real shocked when he found out his daughter had somehow managed to steal the Spartan helmet he'd bought from some random antique store.

Either way, sitting in utter solitary there was boring. But, the glasses had to be returned. She wasn't alone, of course considering the rat she'd just seen race to the corner around. Then there was also the cat, sitting on the trashcan behind her. All was great- no super villai-

The cat hissed right as the girl was pulled inside, not even being given a chance to scream.

A loud clang echoed throughout the sewers.

The girl sat up, her face no longer hidden behind the helmet. Upon glancing ahead, the first thing she saw was the weird-looking turtles from months ago. She gasped, blinking in shock. Slowly, she looked up again, finding the manhole to be... quite far above them. She looked at the turtles once more, pointing to the way out.

As though immediately understanding what she was asking for, one of them, the one who'd casually grabbed her hand last time, crouched down. His brother climbed onto his shell and lowered himself too so another one of them could get up. The girl watched as the third turtle, his eyes framed with new glasses, cracks visible in them, climbed up. And, then they looked at her, earning a nod from her.

That was how they'd reached her so far up high.

The three get down quickly, not noticing the one who didn't get a chance to get up, slouching, disappointed.
