The truth comes out

Rantaro's POV

After we leave the little gas station Maki and I follow Shuichi to his house. Once we arrive to Shuichi's old house he had. It's a whole lot bigger and reminds me of one of those big, creepy houses you'd see in a horror movie.

Before me and Maki can even walk inside Maki gets a phone call, from her father.

"Hold on, I need to take this." she says, before answering the phone.

As she's talking on the phone I see her go pale as her eyes widen. She hangs up the phone and explains how her mother was rushed to the hospital and how she needs to leave now.

As she rushes back to the dorm rooms I swear I can see Shuichi smiling like a pyscho out of the corner of my eye. I must be seeing things, right?

"Oh, what I shame.. poor Maki.." Shuichi says in a fake sympathy voice.

"Let's just get this talk over with.." I mumble before pushing past him.

As I walk in I take note of somethings in the house. It's very clean, there seems to be very little items in here, and the color of everything is very dark.

"You're probably wondering why I wanted to talk to you." Shuichi finally says,

"Well duh." I say before crossing my arms.

"You remember a few years ago..." he starts while laughing.

"How you basically kidnapped Kokichi and was horrible to him, yeah?"

"Oh, I wasn't talking about that.." he says before finally looking at me.

"What do you mean then..?" I say, getting a little anxious.

"Oh don't play dumb, I know Kokichi was the only one who believed my fake ass apology, you think I'm THAT stupid?" He says, walking closer to me.

My eyes widen, I couldn't believe it. I mean I could, but you know.

I gain a little bit of confidence before speaking again. "Why are you telling me this? Aren't you afraid I'm going to go off and tell Kokichi and everyone else?" I question.

Shuichi laughs and shakes his head. "Oh Rantaro, Rantaro... you are SO stupid, you think I didn't think THAT far ahead? I have everything planned! I knew you were gonna bring Maki with you so that why I staged that fake phone call! You thought you would've ruined my plan, jokes on you!"

I begin to back away. "...You're insane!"

"Only because YOU made me this way! You took Kokichi from me! The only person I loved! You took from me..!" he them pauses and looks down. "But it's okay... because I'll get him back... and this time... oh this time... you will NEVER see him again, and that's a promise... so enjoy your time with him for now.."

The moment he finished his sentence I run out the door and back to the dorms. I gotta tell Kaede this.
