Chapter 50: Illusion

Author pov:

Feeling the presence of someone even though they are not in front of your vision is something because either you know that person very well , or that person means the world to you. But either way you just realise that they are somewhere near you and you don't need the words of confirmation to confirm that.

Perhaps it's a sixth sense of yours which never exists according to others or it might be your heart which never listens to others. But whatever it is , the giddy feeling in your stomach , the rise in the number of beats of your heart , the shaky breath of yours , the tension in the air , the silent sense of their footsteps and most importantly the fragrance of them when it hits your nostrils confirming that they are somewhere near you.

And maybe that's what happened a while ago with taehyung.....when he felt his husband standing at the door of the terrace without even turning back.....

"Sir the office time is over. Do you need something." Irene knocked and peaked inside the chilling room to inform Jungkook who softly smiled at her and shook his head in left and right.

"No Ms Irene , you may leave." Irene nodded her and head left from there not before bidding goodbyes to her boss. Jungkook checked the last file of the day and closed it after 10 minutes when he was done.

He collected his phone and keys along with wallet and hung his blazer on his right shoulder holding the edge of the collar with his hand while checking his phone. Just as soon as he opened his phone he was met with the smiling face of his husband on his screen lock. It was taehyung who changed it without his permission and for some unknown reason Jungkook didn't have a heart to change it back to something black again.

For Jungkook , taehyung really has something in him which always draws the older one towards his husband. Maybe it's the younger one's charm , personality , character or maybe love which always pushes Jungkook to the edge where he almost loses himself every damn time.

And does Jungkook feel sorry about it or maybe wrong?

Then the answer is no , Jungkook can never feel anything wrong if he is feeling for taehyung but realising and accepting it from your own is more tougher than actually feeling it.

And should Jungkook be blamed , for not realising and not accepting it?

Then maybe yes or maybe not. Yes , because he is hurting taehyung , surely not intentionally but it does count and he accepts that and no because he isn't like this , the reason that his intentions are not to hurt taehyung is enough to prove him not guilty.

But does this change people's perspective of seeing the situation? No and Jungkook don't fucking care.

Caressing the picture which is displayed on his phone screen Jungkook walked towards his car in the parking lot when he settled on the driver seat , ready to reach the one he needs so badly.

He stopped the car at the signal when his eyes caught sight of the flower shop on the side of the road , without thinking twice he parked his car on the side and walked towards the shop with his slow steps.
