Chapter 18: Rescueing Katara

I woke up the next morning with good sleep and the usual good dream. I showered and got fixed up. I went in to the kitchen and saw Zuko and Iroh getting ready. "Where are yall going?" I asked. "The earth king palace to serve tea" Iroh said. "I'll go along I haven't seen Katara in a while" I said. An escort had came to pick us up. This was the perfect time to go rescue Katara and eventually Zuko.

As we walked out Iroh beagan to talk. "Many times I imagened myself here at the thresh hold of the palace...but I always thought I would be here as a conqueror instead we are the earth kings personal guests here to serve him tea destiny is a funny thing" Iroh asked. "I guess it is" I said thinking about how my life was in all this mess. We were escorted to a special room. At each corner of the rooms were large peices of potery. The walls had that thin sheet that made up the walls. We sat at a red carpet with golden symbols at each four corners. The mahogony table had four cups of tea set. "Whats takeing so long?" Zuko asked a bit impatient. I had noticed that Zuko being this good had changed him I didn't love this Zuko I loved the old grumpy, sad and tense Zuko. "Maybe the earth king over slept" Iroh said. Then Dai lee agents apperead I gasped a bit in fear. "Somethings not right" whispered Zuko. "You think" I whispered back. Then Azula apeared "its tea time" Zuko said. "Azula" Zuko said in a loud voice that almost sounded like himself again. "Have you meet the Dai Lee there earthbenders but they have a killer instinct thats so firebender I just love it" Azula said. I looked at her dead straight in the eyes and she looked back at me. "I see you brought me someone special along with you" Azula said staring at me and Zuko. "Did I ever tell you how I got the nickname "The dragon of the west" Iroh said. "Im not interested in a story uncle" Azula said looking at her nails. "Its more of a demenstartion really" Iroh said sipping tea. "Duck" Zuko commanded. We droped to the floor and saw Iroh shoot fire from his mouth. He burned through the walls and we ran. They started to shoot rocks from there finger tips. Then Azula started to shoot lightning. Iroh droped down on to a bush in the shape of a bear. "Come on you'll be fine" Iroh screamed. "No im tierd of running it's time I faced Azula" Zuko said and I could tell he was back. "Zuko I have to leave but I'll be back I just want you to understand that the choices I make is for a better future" I said and kissed him then I made a mountain to jump on and bring me down as I saw Zuko stand infront of dozens of soilders behind Azula.

I sneaked in to the palace to make sure no Dai Lee wouldn't follow me and found Toph, Sokka and Aang. I burst through the door. "Lulu where's Katara?" Aang asked I was out of breath. "Come on we have to go to the house" I said ordering everyone. "Come on we don't have all day" I orderd still out of breath.

We had gotten to the house. "Whats going on?" Sokka said. "Toph go inside and cheek if there anyone inside" I said as we walked in to the under constructed house. "No one's been here just us" Toph said. "Okay now Katara got captured by Azula and she's about to over throw the earth king but we have to find Katara and Zuko first" I explained quickly out of breath. "There's someone at the door an old freind actually" Toph said. "Its Iroh" I added as she opened the door. "Glad to see you're okay" Toph said. "Hi Iroh" I said. "I need you're help" Iroh said. "Guy's don't freak out he's not like Zuko that'll probly blast you at any second" I said. "You guys know each other" Aang said pointing at Toph. "I meet him in the woods once and I knocked him down then he gave me tea and some very good advice" Toph explained. "May I come in" Iroh asked. Toph noded as well as I. "Princess Azula is her in Bai Sing Sai" Iroh said. "I already explained this Azula overthrowing the King first priority save Katara and Zuko now lets go" I ordered. "I see Zuko's personality has rubbed off on you" Iroh said. "No I got used to this scince I took an army commanding class before and being a captian means takeing charge" I said. "Now lets go we don't have all day people" I said walking outside. "I brought someone along to help" Iroh said as we saw a Dai Lee agent. Toph traped him in a cement mountian. "Where are they keeping my sister?" Sokka asked threating him with his machedi. "Deep beneath the catacombs of the palace" he answered and we ran off to the palace.
