Chapter 6

Chandler's POV

~Sunday ~

I woke up at 8:00 that morning and went downstairs once again not seeing my dad and he is always up at 7:00 so he must be at work, "great" I mutter as I go to get a bowl for my cereal. As I'm eating my cereal I see my phone light up.

Text from: DAD

Hey bud I'm gonna be home late around 10:00 taking a late shift so sleep well and get to bed early. I love you son.

I put down my phone and went back to eating and got but another text, thinking it was my dad I groaned, but it was melody. "Hmmm?"

Text from: melody

Hey can we hang today?

-melody

Yeah, want to hang at my place?

-chandler

Sure

I put my phone down and finished eating so I could get ready, afterwards I went upstairs and got in the shower. 5 minutes after I got out and wrapped a towel around my waist, and walked into my room. "Uhhhh melody why are you in my room?" I asked as I was taken by surprise to see melody in my room. "What would you say if I wasn't melody?" I knew it was Megan now "get out of my house" I said and pointed to the door. "How are you even here?" I asked "oh I saw my sisters text so I came over while she was getting ready" she explained "ok great now get out" I said and pointed to the door again, and as soon as I said that the actual melody comes right through the door. "What the hell is going on here?!" Melody shouts "your sister is fucked up in the head so she decides that it's ok to look at your text and come over here!" I explained in anger "Megan get out. NOW!!" Melody yelled "fine but he is going to be mine" she threatens "in your dreams" I say back to her and she gives me a dirty look.

"Did she see it" melody asks after Megan is gone "no I had my arm covering it" I explained "feww good" melody said relived. "Hey can you turn around?" I asked "what for?" Melody asked confused "well I need to put on pants" I explained "oh yeah totally uh sorry" she said and turned around. So I dropped my towel and put on my underwear and sweat pants no need for a shirt around melody. "Ok I'm done" I said and melody turned around "ok great so what do you want to do?" Melody asked "well I have a swimming pool out back and I did say I could swim when it was Just us cause you know" I explained "that sounds great let me just change, I'll be right back" melody said and went to the bathroom so while she was gone I went ahead and put on my swim trunks. Then melody walked in and asked "you ready?" "Yeah" I said.

We walked out to the back to the pool. "It's not as big as yours but its big enough" I said "what do you mean it's perfect" melody said and jumped right in so I joined her and did a big cannon ball in. "Hahahaha I haven't swam in so long" I said coming up from the water "really, how long."melody asks. "I don't know, maybe since I was five" I said "what wow that's a long time" melody said shocked "yeah I know but I still love to swim" I said. Suddenly melody squirts water at me and its on. "Hahahaha" I laugh and squirt water right back at her, we have a water fight for a while but then she stops as a car pulls up,but it's not my dad cause its only 11:30 am. The door opens on both sides and Megan pops her head out and from the other side a guy that looks are age gets out. "What the hell are you doing here" melody asked Megan annoyed "getting my man" Megan says "I am not your man!" I spat at her "oh but you will be" Megan says "melody you remember Jon? You guys dated a while then you broke up with him, he still likes you you know." She said and I got in front of melody "you stay the fuck away from melody" I said.

"How are you gonna make me" Jon said he was not a big muscle guy but he must be strong he is tan with black hair and tall but not taller than me. "Just stay away from melody" I said now holding on to melody still staying in front of her. "Megan just stop he doesn't like you" melody explained "well I want to hear that from him" Megan said "I've said it three times and you won't listen so let me say it again hoping it will get through your extremely thick head, I DONT LIKE YOU MEGAN" I said basically spelling it out for her. "Fine I don't like you anyway" she said running off to the car and screaming for Jon to get his ass in and drive her home.

"Hey thanks" melody said as I was still holding on to her "uh yeah and thanks to you too" I said and let go of her, and I saw a faint blush on her cheeks.

"Thanks for what?" She said with a giggle, "for getting your sister off my back, finally" I said "ok" she said and we went back to having fun.
