It had been quiet for some time when only fans co-actor stood up, "Well, this is fun. " She sarcastically announced out loud. One of the other girls shushed her. "Now you're being silly the only thing we are going to get is a night with one of the party guests." Hannah was internally pleading with her to shut up. Just then outside the room, slow deliberate footsteps could be heard outside the door. The door across the hallway slowly creaked open. Hannah covered her mouth scared to breathe or move. you could hear whoever it was walking back and forth looking for someone in the other room. "Found you, bitch." The voice's cruel intentions echoed in Hannah's mind.
"Let go of my hair. Let go of my hair. Let go of my hair." the girl screamed in fear. The sounds of a scuffle and muffled screams made the other girls quietly scramble for better hiding spaces. there was a thud as a body was slammed against the wall. Then a scuffling against the wall "Run!" She screamed her last as the thud of a body hit the floor. Footsteps ran away followed by heavier footsteps until the ear-wenching silence returned to the hallway. Hannah knew she couldn't stay there and clambered down from the top of the wardrobe as quietly as she could. The three girls came out from hiding, "Hannah." came a loud whisper as the other girls stood up. "We were told you had run off."
"Not really," she whispered back.
"My Lizann. " She said, "If I am dying here I want people to know my real name."
"Beth, my real name is Beth," One of the other girls
"Mine is Paula."
"I don't remember my real name," Hannah said quietly, still unsure as to whether or not she could trust them.
"If that's how long you've been in this business it explains a lot." Lizann said.
"Let's go." Hannah said, "Pick up anything you can use as a weapon." She whispered to them. "And take your heels off." She whispered before she pressed her ear against the door to listen for anyone on the other side. Not hearing anyone she quietly and slowly opened the door a lifeless hand flopped to the floor as she did. Beth covered her mouth to prevent herself from screaming as they walked past the lifeless body blood still slowly pooling on the floor about her. Hannah then decided to walk along the corridor for a little while before finding another open doorway that led to a dining room or an old ballroom. Propped on the wall were suites of armor and swords along with a couple of medieval pikes. Hannah put her hand on the pike and moved it to see if it was fastened to the wall and it was only resting in the wooden rack. She removed it "Are you sure we are allowed to do this?" Beth asked. Everyone turned and looked at her through the darkness.
"I'm taking one too," Lizann said confidently and took another pole with a pointy end from the rack. "At least I'm gonna give them the pointy end if one of them turns up. She whispered. Another scream interrupted them. Their hands shook as Hannah went in front and Lizann was behind them. Echoing from the darkness another scream pierced the air making Beth cover her ears and Paula start to shake uncontrollably.
Hannah pressed her ear against the door to listen for anyone on the other side. Someone opened to door at the other side of the dining room. Making them turn around and face that direction Hannah tried the door but it was locked. "Try again," Beth said desperately. Hannah and Lizann turned to face the silhouette on the other side of the room. Hannah and Lizann charged straight at the man who managed to take hold of Lizann's spear giving Hannah a chance to stick it to him. Hannah was sure by how easily it pierced through the flesh and the man called out in pain."You bitch." He called whilst the other two helped push him out the closed window. There was a loud smash sound as the window broke. He somehow managed to get back up to his feet, the girls didn't wait around to see what was happening and ran through the corridors of the building.
"We have a better chance if we find an exit that isn't into the walled gardens." Lizann said,
"And then we get help for the others." Beth said hopefully.
Hannah didn't say anything but she knew it would be unlikely anyone would believe them. "This way." She showed them as she recognized that they were close to the conservatory with the pool.
"Have you been here a while then?" Paula asked, it was clear that she for some reason had started to mistrust Hannah. "You always hated everyone and now you think you're in charge."
"I am not in charge I just know the way." Hannah told her
"I'm in charge." Lizann told her "Hannah knows the way."
It was then that Hannah began to question why that had tagged on to her after all none of them had liked her, she had just gone along with it and assumed they could put the differences aside to get out of this place. Just before the argument broke out a door flung itself open and she could see wet footprints appear in the dim light from the windows. Hannah went to follow them into them "Run." She heard and felt the whisper on her neck and sent cold shivers down her spine. The others felt the cold breeze, "This place is creepy." Beth said quietly as they entered what appeared to be an older part of the house.
They walked a few more steps quietly down the hallway till they heard something being dragged along the floor and a voice Hannah instantly recognized as Alistair's Uncle. "Come now dear." He sadistically cooed, "We can have some fun before you have to leave for the night." As they got closer a faint sobbing could be heard. There was only one option an old-looking door that definitely would creak when opened. In the distance, there were more screams that rang through the night. The Uncle giggled with glee, as he continued to drag the girl behind him. Hannah felt years of anger towards the men who had abused her and the men now who would torture and kill her. "We kill him, that is the only way out of this." Hannah told them.
"Yes." Lizann agreed. "Keep watch Beth for anyone else coming." Beth nodded and stepped to the side to keep watch for someone else.
The other three girls waited for the Uncle to turn the corner and when they saw the silhouette dragging someone behind him by the hair. "Oh look, sweety. Some more friends have come to play." He cackled in delight before letting go of her hair. He ran at them and out of luck more than anything they managed to somehow the pointy end into his gut and together pushed him full length of the corridor and into the wall near his last victim where he dropped the large hunting knife he was carrying. The young woman breathed her last as they struggled to fight off the cunt of an Uncle. Beth stood at the other end of the hallway watching this whole thing take place and let out a terrified scream. The fresh corpse had picked herself up and the knife and joined in with Hannah and the others by stabbing the old sleaze in the face repeatedly.
Standing around for a moment they looked at each other and then the walking corpse. It took Beth screaming again to bring everyone back around. Beth was being held up by the throat, by Alistair. "Mister WHY?" The corpse said while pointing at him. Alistair turned his head and looked in shock, "WHY?" The corpse asked again. Beth was almost turning blue now as everyone just stood looking at one another in the hallway. The corpse then screamed loudly causing Alistair to drop Beth. She scrambled to her feet and all of them ran away leaving Alistair behind, the undead girl followed them.
