"Fukiya!" Reiko exclaimed,"Come help me get the Mongolia kids from the castle. The queen doesn't want them there when their parents move into the prisons full time."

"Today?"

"Yep right now."

"Fine, but you're in charge of the kids! I'm just going as a second pair of hands."

"Deal."

The Mongolia kids were so calm and well behaved it was hard to believe they were children at all. Natsu even mentioned Nori could be fun when she wanted to.

"Natsu gets to room with Nori?" Hiro asked Yato.

"Yeah," Yato paused,"Why are you making a face?"

"Apart they're reasonable people but all they do is argue when they are together."

"Why would Nori offer her room then?"

"Because both of them try to get along but they just don't. They're so loud."

"Loud?"

"You'll see."

"I have a plan!" Nori told Natsu as her cousin unpacked.

"What's your plan? Tell me!" Natsu slammed the dresser shut.

"You'll be rehomed-"

"And separated."

"Okay, but you aren't far from one another. It's the best I could do."

"It's not good enough."

"Could you do any better?"

"At least I would try to!"

"I did! I have!"

Chi came into the room and turned to her sister,"Natsu, at least go meet the families. Nori wouldn't send us just anywhere."

Nori nodded,"and hopefully it's only temporary."

"Hopefully?" Natsu wasn't impressed,"I'll meet the families. But we aren't going anywhere yet."

"Deal," Nori sighed,"I'm going to go help Reiko with lunch. Yato will show you around the compound."

"Yato? He's around a lot. Are you two-"

"Bye!"

Natsu did get to meet the first family later that day. A foster family. Had Nori even tried? Honestly she had changed since coming to the compound. She had put her family lower on the priority list than ever before.

"Nori," Reiko said," Fukiya says he needs your help in the file room."

"Alright!' Nori called. She figured she had misplaced a file or something. Instead she found Chi in tears.

"I don't want a new family," she cried at Fukiya,"I'm a Mongolia!"

Fukiya didn't know what to do. He awkwardly patted her on the back until Nori raced over," you'll still be a Mongolia. But now you'll get to be something else too."

"I just want our family."

"Me too. But we have them. You're going to have to trust me and the people you stay with for a little bit. Okay?"

"Okay."

"I have a family for you to meet. They should be here soon. So go get ready."

"Okay."

Nori turned to Fukiya,"Thanks for watching her."

Fukiya nervously nodded and then said he had to go get some lunch.

"Are we late?" Tori asked as they reached the compound.

"Only a little," Adreil said.

They stumbled through the door to meet Natsu. For a moment Adreil told her they tried to be on time.

"Adriel?" Natsu couldn't believe her eyes,"you've returned! How wonderful."

Unlike Nori she pulled Adriel into a hug and welcomed him back. She offered Tori a sandwich and told them all about her time at the compound.

"Yato!" Natsu exclaimed,"you'll never believe who this is."

"Nori's brother," Yato said.

"How did you know that?"

"We went to visit him."

"How long has she known where he was?"

"About two days. He's come to take one of you in."

"Is it me?"

Adriel shook his head,"I'm afraid not. I asked for you but Nori had someone else in mind."

"Who?"

"I have no idea."

"I was thinking of Chi,"Nori said as she came through the doorway with her own lunch,"but she's being shy at the moment."

"Chi? Why?" Natsu asked.

"They'll do one another good," Nori said.

"Chi!" Yato called,"Come meet Adirel!"

"Nori's big brother?" Chi peeked around the corner,"he's real?"

"Of course I'm real!" Adreil exclaimed.

"Did you really catch a snake with your bare hands?"

"Nori still tells that story?"

"Of course she does. That's so cool!"

"Did she leave out the part where I cried the whole time and she laughed?"

"You did what?"

"Nori let's go eat," Yato said,"they'll be okay."

"We'd better go while she's feeling brave," Nori said.

"Do you think Chi will like it there?"

"Yeah, yeah. I think it should be good."

"You forgive your brother?"

"I'm working on it. I want to."

"Nori," Fukiya interrupted the pair," I have bad news."

"What?"

"The castle won't pay to keep you here at the compound because you're disowned."

"How can my family do that? They're retained."

"Diera had to approve it as part of an information deal."

"What does that mean?" Yato asked.

"Once the kids are placed she has to leave," Fukiya said.

"We can't fund her as a worker?" Yato asked.

"No, technically she has no education and no samurai training because it was through her family. So legally I can' recommend keeping her here."

"I'll go back to the castle when this is all over. So don't worry, I'm sure Diera can help me find another job."

"You should take a break when all of this is over," Yato said,"Senji will help me sort this out so just worry about your family."

"If she were to be a fiance," Reukiya started.

"No!" Nori turned to Yato,"I don't think I'm ready for that yet."

"Me either," Yato said.

"Nori!" Hiro shouted from down the hall,"everyone else left! Can you tell me where I'm staying yet?"

"Go pack your things! We're going on a trip Hiro!"
