POV: READER.

Me and N had left to go search for my own landing pod for information.

When I stepped out the pod, I saw how cold and harsh the planet was, no wonder they sent drones, there's no way a human could survive these conditions.

"So disassembly drones survive off of oil right?" I asked N as we both stood there for a bit.

"Yep! We also can't go out in the sun, I think it might because it could overheat our system?" N said in a happy go lucky tone, it made me wonder if he was always this cheerful.

"Ah I see.." I answered, and looked to the side.

There was an awkward silence before he cleared his throat and spoke again.

"If you don't mind me asking, what's the blue fluid in your tail? Me and V have yellow fluid called nanite acid! But yours doesn't look like nanite at all?" N asked.

"Well it's like nanite acid, except it freezes whatever got stabbed and then dissolves, it's a slower process than nanite, it's etinan acid, Basically nanite acid spelled backwards." I explained.

"Ohhhh! I See, i mean that's pretty cool ya know! But I do have another question." N tapped his fingers together.

"Shoot me" I allowed him to ask another question.

"Do you not have survive off of oil? I mean I do know disassembly drones do, but what about you?" N asked once again.

"Well my system rejects any type of fluid, so no I guess I don't." I shrugged.

"Ohh okay! Well I suppose we should get going before sunrise!" N nodded and put his hands under my arms.

"Sorry if this is awkward, I don't know if you wanted to be picked up another way." He apologize before he spread his wings that were actually blades? Interesting and lifted me off the ground.

"Okay.. this is weird.." I said as I looked down at the ground I was hovering over, it wasn't weird because N was holding me by my arms, it was because I've never been off the ground before.

"I can't believe you've never flown before, I wonder why the company did equip you with wings." He wondered as he carried me over the frozen landscape.

"Well I am just a prototype so I suppose that's why?" I answered him, it was a bit nervous he'd drop me.. it didn't really trust him all that much so I suppose I had a reason to be nervous.

When we both landed by my pod, N placed me down on the snow covered ground, the snow making a crunchy sound.

"Well here we are!" N exclaimed before pushing a piece metal covering the entrance away. "After you!" N spoke.

I went in first, I saw the seat I was in and looked around, there wasn't much but then I saw something shiny on the ground.

I approached the small metal piece and picked it up, a star pin? It must've flew off my coat when landing. I put the pin back on my coat and looked around more

"Find anything Y/N ?" N asked me as he rummaged through things.

"Nothing so far." I said disappointingly before N gasped.

I turned my head to see another pin? It was the same pin on N's hat, a skull with wings.

"Y/N! You were the pilot of this pod?!" He exclaimed.

"Huh? Wait what? The pilot.. but I didn't-.. N where'd you find that?"

"It was over here!" N pointed at the floor near my chair.

"But I didn't control the pod?.. At least I don't think so." I spoke.

"We should take this back along w-" N said before looking at the screen behind him, it had turned a bright blue with a disturbing image of.. me? Eating a worker drone corpse.

I felt sick, what was going on.. was that me?... what was going on. Why did the company really send me here.

What were they hiding.
