Leilani's P.O.V:
I wake up in Reece's arms, slowly sliding out of his reach, trying to not wake him up. I grab my phone, to check what the time was. The time reads: 9:30 am.
The boys Bronco's team have a game today against the Cowboys at 7:30 pm. I slowly get out of bed, throwing the blanket off of me. I walk to the bathroom quietly, putting on the shower. I have a shower then dry my hair with a towel. I don't have a game today but I do have training along with the boys and girls so I put my jersey on and shorts. I put my socks on and begin to style my hair. I put some curl cream and gel in my hair pulling my hair back in to a slick back ponytail. I braid the ponytail, adding some more hair cream.
The bathroom door opens, "Morning Lani", Reece says, half asleep.
"About time you wake up, you have a game today you need to train", I cross my arms.
"Okay mum", he says.
I roll my eyes leaving the bathroom so he could have a shower. I grab my shoes sitting on the bed tying the laces. It's about 10:45 now. Reece comes out of the bathroom shirtless with only a towel around his waist.
My jaw drops and I look him up and down, "Put some clothes on", I say throwing, his jersey and shorts at him.
"Wouldn't be the first time you see me without a shirt would it?", he jokes.
His comment makes me tense, "Whatever, hurry up and get dressed", I say leaving my room.
The hangover hits me, bad headache, ughh. I rumage through the kitchen cabinets looking for some Panadol. I take one tablet and swallow it with some water. I grab my house keys and sit on the couch waiting for Reece. Reece leaves my room, entering the kitchen, getting his car keys from the bench. "C'mon Lani, I'm driving", he says.
We get in the car, I live about 20 minutes away from where we train. I put on some music in the car and go on my phone. We now arrive, I greet all my girls and then go over to the boys where they're training. I go over to Cobbo, wanting to apologize for last night.
"Hey Cobs, just wanted to apologize for last night, I was really drunk and yeah I'm just really sorry man.", I say sincerely.
"All good mate, you know I can never stay mad at you Lani, anyways I gotta continue training. Talk to you later?", he says.
I agree, saying bye then walking over to Riki before finally deciding to start my own training. I jump up on Riki from his back, greeting him. "Hii Riks".
"Hi drunk girl", he says laughing.
"I'm seriously so hung over my head is like pounding.", I pout. "Anyways, I'll leave you to it, talk to you later Riks".
I walk away from him, screaming, "BYEEE RIKS".
I greet most of the Bronx boys before heading over to my girls again. We begin to train.
Time skip. (They all just train)
After training non stop, it's about 4:30 and we're all on the bus now. I sit next to Selwyn resting my head on his shoulder, listening to the music playing in my airpods. I make eye contact with Walsh as he comes onto the bus and walks down the aisle. He sees me resting my head on Cobbo's shoulder and looks at me weirdly... Anyways, for the rest of the bus ride me and Cobbo just joke around and talk before we arrive at the stadium. We leave the bus, I stay by Cobbo's side before having to go to the bleachers.
"Do me proud mate", I say.
"You know I will", he says before pulling me into a hug. He walks off with the rest of the boys.
I tell the rest of the boys "goodluck" before they use their extra time to train a bit more. The game starts, Cobbo gets try. I get out of my chair, screaming, cherring him on. Adam makes the conversion and the Reece intercepts between the Cowboys, catching a ball that was meant for one of the Cowboys players, he makes the try, make me jump out of my seat in joy. "YES, Reece".
