So this is an update for both Wattpad and DA. Partly because I post my stories on both sites. Around the time I started writing/posting the 2nd draft of the Black Dawn series I stopped posting written stuff on DA. That was partly because they got rid of sta.sh writer and I have since used whatever it is that they replaced it with (it isn't the best thing because it has you put the writing in and then it submits separately or skips a step and fully submits and from what I can tell you can't edit it afterwards...)
So there's some weirdness on both of the sites in regards to my stories, funny enough it's in regards to oneshots mostly. DA has my very old warriors stuff and discontinued stories and first draft oneshots for BDS and Wattpad is missing the older stuff but has the newer oneshots. The discontinued prequels are on DA and Shattering the Night is on both, Corrupt Desires will be posted after I finish it eventually.
So on to the actual update. I will be honest and state that I haven't really done much writing outside of occasionally writing down lore/information about BDS or attempting to actually start the Price of Corruption Series (formerly Project X, then Price of Peace and Price of Silence) since early this year. Like February. Part of it was I was in college for a semester and I now have a full time job so I'm more busy. But what I think has slightly killed my motivation is me plotting ideas for the 3rd draft of the BDS. I have a lot of ideas for changes to the point it might be more of a reboot than another draft.
I also have realized alongside the new ideas that the current storyboard (which I wrote for all 4 books shortly after I started book 1) has issues that no longer make sense or didn't make sense with the changes that have occurred since I started the 2nd draft.
One is that originally Tiny gives birth before Clare, but Clare knew she was pregnant and Tiny wasn't even showing when she found out because I gave Steve the ability to just know if someone is preggers, but he's supper awkward about the idea of telling someone before the actual signs of it start showing up.
Another is Clare fighting Flint or Flint going along with what Loki wants because he doesn't agree with him.
A thing that I have struggled with is Slade and his curse/possession by his father. It's janky right now, but bare minimum chapter 14 in Fading Light before I start giving up and not writing full proper chapters and just paraphrase the stuff, I will write that Clare admits there's always been something off about their relationship and then in the 3rd draft he's going to be full on abusive mixed with a seemingly spilt personality which only makes it worse (I slightly hope to make him worse as time progresses...)
As I said above and stated I might do at an earlier update I am likely not going to fully write the remaining chapters of Fading Light and just get the idea out with me writing things that are very important. might skip Ripple's battle plans and who is paired with who in battle because that requires more backtracking and I don't feel like trying to find where I put that information earlier in the book. Partly because my plans for Fading Light are going to play out very differently, yes there might be a battle but it's not the same battle. Why? Ace actually being with CV since kithood vs him growing up a stray then guest of CotD and then rejoining his birthplace changes things. One of the things in Fading Light that I will fight to keep is Shatterednight being full on possessed by Duke, might change some of the situation but Shatterednight fighting for control and Duke proudly claiming he's going to take Shatterednight's soul is just something that needs to happen because of the fact the two are bound together throughout multiple lives and it concludes that part of Shatterednight being trapped in a cycle.
-edit before I even posted this update like 3 days of not typing this up because I was distracted and didn't finish it, I have now further changed my mind. I will not be writing the rest of Fading Light unless I want to write a particular segment. I have realized right after thinking of a better version for the prologue that still keeps Duke's chaos being added in alongside some world building that has stuff that I have known for years but has no reason to be mentioned by the characters really, like the true size of Hazel who's the smallest character, she's big as a fully grown tiger:)
I also hope to somehow make the writing translate better for comics because being dialogue heavy doesn't work with that and I occasionally want to do comic stuff
So what does this mean?
Am I stopping Fading Light? Kinda, my plan is to list each chapter that's left with the storyboard and go into detail of what is accurate still somehow and random stuff in regards to the chapter, like the chapter I gave up on that I have no idea what to do for Ripple's PoV because for several chapters of his in a row I put stuff from a later chapter (like the next pov chapter) in the one before it
There's going to be a chapter at the end that goes over what comes next and some of the changes that I have planned and probably will go the fact some of the changes destroyed years of planning (reminder have been working on this series for 9+ years)
The other note in regards to Price of Corruption series (Price of the Lost, Price of Peace and Price of Silence) I need to figure out how long I am making a year then I can more easily work on it outside of figuring out family trees
My main plan for the rest of the year is to reorganize my DA folders and Wattpad stories after that start scheduling stuff to be posted because I can do that on both sites now
TLDR: I still plan to start posting writing next year, remainder of this year will be visibly seen more so on DA with me updating my folders, Wattpad will also be reorganized but story wise, more so to contain older stuff and concepts (like everything Priced of Corruption shall be together except for the main book. Not properly finishing Fading Light in favor for starting the 3rd draft because of motivation, also will be doing new refs for all cat characters, family tree's for BDS will be done different, Price of Corruption will get a new updated family tree (it's going to be made for after shortly after the war)

-Corrupted Desires will be finished at some point
-I will try to get some more lore pages out and have it also posted on Wattpad

Price of Corruption
Rough summary idea: In an alternate world exists the Country of Azule. It's a country strong in the belief that their original god abandoned them and that a deity by the name of Canius took pity upon them and gifted them dogs as guardians and guides. Yet things are not as they should be in this country. Corruption rots through those who are in power and silences the wrong in the name of peace. Corrupt organizations continue to exist and terrorize the people. It's only a matter of time till something snaps and the people either revolt or are silenced forever.

Xavier McClalister (I find it funny McDonald's pops up as typing on phone) Agent Frostwalker (not sure what his actual name is or even if I have given him one because he's usually referred to by his middle name Frostwalker because ranger), and Peter Blackwell, part one will go over historical figures in the major families to the story with the last ones being Frostwalker & Xavier's family's
Not sure if I will go over Xavier's uncle from his father's side actual death or the extra drama from his mother's family as they are both actual plot points
Will go over the Reedchester's as well
Disclaimer:
First off the prologue will be going over history most characters know and is to give a brief hint of their religious beliefs among other things. Main reason I am not labeling it chapter one is because I currently don't feel like writing the whole thing with the Combative Families.
It's also hints to why secondary bloodlines are dubbed Rosethorn instead of something more similar to Blackwell
Mature themes and swearing will be presented but won't go explicit for anything sexual as normal for me
