Chapter 23

"Guys were going to be playing in teams of two!, and whoever has the most tickets wins and gets a prize at the end" olivia says with her hand in her friends

"Why dont we just play regularly?" A guy asks looking quite annoyed

Olivia shakes her head and says "well thats just boring!" While those two have an argument people are finding partners

"Hey" hudson comes up to me all smiley, knowing what hes gonna ask makes me smile and he continues "will you help me out today by winning together?" "Itll be upsetting if we dont win" i say smiling making him laugh

"We all meet here in about 2 hours!" I hear olivia shouting over all the excitement of girls partnering up with eachother

I see hudson start walking away which i speed walk to catch up to him, he looks around at all the games "what do you wanna olay first?" He asks turning to me

"Dont make me decide, i barely come to the arcade" he smiles and nods looking around again for a game and his eyes land on one and he points over to a game ive never seen

We walk over to it and he says "this one" i put my hands up to my waist putting them each on their side, "i dont know how to play this"

"Well if youve barely came to the arcade im pretty sure you dont know any games" he laughs and i just stare at him and he puts the card into the game and it starts and i just watch him play

"Dont you wanna give it a try?" He asks while playing and i shake my head and he shrugs

I look around the arcade a bit more nicely since i can give it my full attention and i see a motorcycle game, i gasp and tug onto hudsons shirt and say "can we pleasee play that next!" I point over to the motorcycles and he turns his head eyeing it and he says "sure" and keeps on playing

I wait patiently until he finishes and some tickets come out, "im guessing you werent that good since you didnt get alot" i point to the tickets "i tried my best okay" he laughs and so do i

We walk over to them and the two ones beside each other are out of order "awhh bro i wanted us to sit next to each other" i pout and he says "go on and ill figure something out" he taps the motorcycle

I find a way to get on and he puts the card in which activates it and theres a screen to pick a lane to race on " ooo its a racing game, my favourite" before i could finish my sentence i feel him sitting down beside me and holding on to the motorcycles sides so it doesnt fall to either side since you had to lean towards them to turn and move

I gulp and pick a random lane, it gives me a countdown and i lean in and try to go the fastest i could, then i feel his hands on my waist, suddenly a guilty feeling builds up in my heart and i try not to focus on that since hes probably just doing that to hold on

I finish the race 2nd and we both cheer and laugh "that was so fun!" I say smiling excitedly to play more games "yes i know!" He replies with the same energy and he takes the tickets out the machine and we head over to a shooting game

"Okay this ones my gun and this ones yours" he says handing me the one beside his and he activates the game and we start playing it

We end up losing against the zombies we had to kill since we didnt know the game that much, "oh my god i know what we should play!" I say excitedly walking him over to the basketball machine and he says "why didnt i think of this!" "Lets play the table hockey game or whatever its name is after this!" I say wanting to start already and he nods

He ends up scoring the most points by not missing one ball which was surprising, while walking to the next game he says "you know how to play basketball?" "Not really i just like the arcade game, do you?" He nods and says "mhm i play for a team too" " oh really! Thats so cool"

"You should come see us play" before the conversation could go any further we get to the game and we start playing it after he puts the card in and we start by the puck being by his side and him getting a point instantly

But after many tries i catch up to him and even get more points by 2-6 "you shouldnt get too cocky when your playing with a professional" i say giggling and he laughs aswell

We both head back to the place where we were supposed to meet up seeing only a few people so we had to wait

"My legs hurt" i start complaining and he teases me by making fun of me and mocking me which was funny and made me laugh

After everyone was back they counted the tickets and me and hudson were no where near everyone elses tickets who were trying hard to win

We laugh and joke about our amount and finally we head outside which everybody says goodbye to each other, few people leave alone but mostly are together

I look around but cant see hudson anywhere cause i was trying to say bye to him but its okay, before i walked away to get a taxi or get an uber i hear a car honk and i turn around to see hudson calling me over, and i walk over since i really didnt wanna get a taxi

"Come on get in" he says unlocking the doors and i dont refuse since i feel a little better with him than a random man

"Whats your address so i could drive you home?" He looks back at me from the mirror and i take my phone out to show him since im not good at giving directions

I hand him my phone which is on google maps and show him where he could drop me off and he nods and turns the music on while he drives

"Im sorry if this is awkward i cant talk and drive, makes me not focused on the road" he says apologising "no, no its okay i understand" i let him be and just look out the window until we get there

"Alrighty" he says putting the car on park and i turn over to him and thank him for driving me home and for the fun day "its my pleasure and um could i have one of your socials if your okay with it?" He asks "yeah sure"

I type in my Snapchat since i didnt want him to follow my instagram cause i have one too many followers and i dont want him to know just yet i hand his phone back to him and he thanks me

" well goodbye y/n"

"Bye hudson"

I wave to him after getting out of the car and he drives away

-a/n: im sorry for not uploading in a long time and i wont be uplouding for the next week since our mid terms are this sunday but i just wanted to get something out before then and im so thankful for all of you 🤍 ( sorry for any mistakes or incorrect spelling i wrote this without double checking)
