A Prank Gone Wrong

The sun shone brightly over the bustling campus of Gusu University, heralding the beginning of a new semester. It was a day of excitement and nervousness for both students and faculty members alike. Among them was Lan Wangji, the newly appointed professor, and younger brother of the esteemed Professor Lan Xichen.

Wei Wuxian, a notorious troublemaker with a penchant for mischief, couldn't contain his excitement. He was already notorious for his pranks on professors, and today promised to be no different. Wei Wuxian was always surrounded by his equally mischievous friends, Wen Ning and Nie Huaisang, both of whom were always up for an adventure.

Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli, his cousins, were his partners in crime, though they usually played the role of responsible siblings trying to keep him out of trouble. Among his protectors were Wen Chao and Wen Qing, siblings of Wen Ning, who considered Wei Wuxian as the youngest member of their group and looked out for him.

Little did Wei Wuxian and his friends know that this semester was going to be different. As they gathered in the university courtyard, they noticed a new face, unfamiliar but strikingly handsome. Lan Wangji had an air of seriousness and refinement about him as he made his way through the crowd. He was completely unaware of the storm about to descend upon him.

Wen Ning, ever the instigator, nudged Wei Wuxian and whispered, "Hey, Wei Wuxian, are you courageous ?"

Wei Wuxian's eyes twinkled with mischief, and he couldn't resist a dare. "What do you have in mind, Wen Ning?"

Nie Huaisang, always up for a prank, chimed in, "I dare you to propose to the person whoever came in first from the gate right in front of everyone!"

Laughter erupted among the group as they thought this was just another prank on an unsuspecting professor. Wei Wuxian, never one to back down from a dare, grinned and said, "Alright, watch this!"

As a person walked by, Wei Wuxian was stunned by his handsomeness, that persone was heavenly beautiful, though wei wuxian himself was the handsome hunk of the university but he the competition for wei wuxian but apart from this wei wuxian confidently stepped in front of him. He dropped down on one knee dramatically and extended a rose, declaring loudly, "Hey handsome, I've been struck by your beauty! Will you marry me?"

The courtyard echoed with laughter as students and even some faculty members joined in. Wei Wuxian himself couldn't help but laugh. He expected the new professor to laugh it off too, but to his shock, the person didn't react at all. Instead, he simply walked away, leaving Wei Wuxian and his friends stunned.

"Wow, I guess he didn't find you charming at all, Wei Wuxian but he was handsome!" Wen Ning teased, laughing along with the others.

Wei Wuxian scratched his head, still grinning, "Well, that was unexpected! I thought he'd at least crack a smile and yeah he was handsome, nei husang please let me know about this new comer i wanted to know in which class he entered."

There is also news spreading about a new professor, professor Lan Wangji, Lan Wangji wasn't just any professor. He was the younger brother of Professor Lan Xichen and the nephew of the stern Dean Lan Qiren. His demeanor was often as unyielding as his uncle's, and he had no patience for pranks and foolishness.

As Wei Wuxian, Wen Ning, and Nie Huaisang entered their first class of the semester, they were taken aback by the sight that greeted them. Lan Wangji was standing at the front of the class, impeccably dressed, and ready to teach.

"Wait, isn't that...?" Wei Wuxian stammered, his heart sinking as he realized who their new professor was.

Wen Ning and Nie Huaisang exchanged nervous glances. "Wei Wuxian, you just proposed to our professor!"

Wei Wuxian sank low in his seat, his face burning with embarrassment. The entire class was now whispering about the dare and the professor's indifference.

Lan Wangji began the lecture, and Wei Wuxian desperately tried to focus, but he couldn't shake off the humiliation of his earlier stunt. As the class progressed, Lan Wangji posed a question to the students. Wei Wuxian, who had been diligently taking notes to avoid further trouble, was caught off guard.

"Mr. Wei Wuxian, can you answer this question?"

Wei Wuxian's heart pounded loudly as all eyes turned to him. He tried to recall the lecture, but his mind was a jumbled mess. He stammered, "I...uh..."

Lan Wangji's gaze was stern as he cut him off. "If you cannot answer, please stand outside the class."

The class erupted in laughter, and Wei Wuxian's face turned crimson. He stood up, his head hung low, and walked out of the classroom amidst the jeers and taunts of his classmates.

As he stood outside the classroom, Wei Wuxian couldn't help but curse Lan Wangji under his breath. But he was admiring the beauty of Lan wangji, wei ying find him very attrative. 

Outside the classroom, Wei Wuxian leaned against the wall, his face burning with embarrassment.

Inside the classroom, Lan Wangji continued the lecture without missing a beat. His students were still amused by the earlier incident, but they also couldn't help but be impressed by his knowledge and teaching skills.

Wei Wuxian's friends, Wen Ning and Nie Huaisang, exchanged worried glances as they watched their friend's humiliation. They knew that Wei Wuxian had a mischievous side, but they also knew he was intelligent and capable. This was just an unfortunate turn of events.

After the class ended, Wei Wuxian reentered the classroom, his head held low, As he made his way to his seat, he noticed that Lan Wangji was collecting his belongings. The professor's expression remained unreadable, but there was a hint of something in his eyes as he glanced briefly at Wei Wuxian.

The rest of the day passed in a blur for Wei Wuxian. He attended his other classes and tried to put the morning's incident behind him. But it was easier said than done, especially when his friends couldn't resist teasing him about it during their lunch break.

"Come on, Wei Ying, it was just a dare," Nie Huaisang said, trying to lighten the mood.

"Yeah, and you know Lan Wangji probably doesn't even remember you," Wen Ning added.

Wei Wuxian also grinned notoriously, as he said

"professor lan wangji just wait and watch this is the starting"

"what are you up to wei " nei husang and wen ning asked

"you just keep watching......" wei ying smiled mischievously
