My best friend, Leo, sat in-front of my office desk, rambling about some girl as I read through some important paperwork. My mood was shit because Ivan Petrov still hadn't found the mole in his mafia.
It shouldn't have took so long to do and I just wanted this whole thing to be over so I could go to sleep at night knowing my little siblings lives weren't in danger.
A knock cut off Leo's voice and he shouted a "come in" before I could. I gave him a blank look and he shrugged his shoulders, "I love doing that, makes me feel important." I rolled my eyes and looked at my assistant who stood at my office door, a nervous look on his face.
I raised an eye brow waiting for him to speak.
"Sorry to disturb you sir, but your siblings have been arrested" I sighed and ran my hands down my face.
"What have Emilio and Enzo done now?" Leo laughed. "I believe they got into a car race, got into a small crash and a boy- I think his name was- Valentino tried to assault an officer."
My head snapped up at the mention of Tino.
Leo looked confused, "who's Valentino?"
I sighed and looked at my assistant, "I'll deal with it, thank you."
"Again, who is Valentino? And why does that name seem so familiar?" He asked as we both stood up.
"Valentino is my little brother" Leo gasped, "fuck off, he is back?! And you didn't tell me?! What about the other one?"
"Valentina and Valentino are both back" I stated simply before leaving my office, practically speed walking to my car.
The word "crash" made me worried. Leo did a little jog to catch up to me, "I can't believe this, it's been like years since I've seen them!"
"Eighteen years" I muttered.
Leo had been my best friend since we were both old enough to go to school. He had met the twins when they were little and was even came to the hospital to see them when they were born.
He became like another brother to them at such a young age. And for him- all my siblings were the siblings he never had.
Leo's family was abusive so mom and dad took him in until he was old enough to get him own place. They gave him a job and is now an assassin for the Italian Mafia.
His first kills were his parents and he loved killing them.
