It was in the early morning when the atizer began to shake and turn on. This signaled one of three possibilities. The first possibility that occurred to him was that one of his delicate machines had suffered damage. These machines were not mere lifeless constructs; they were works of art, intricate in design and a testament to his craftsmanship. The idea of any of them being harmed filled him with a sense of responsibility and duty to restore them to perfection.
The second possibility was equally intriguing. Sometimes, these machines exhibited a mysterious behavior—they seemed to remember fragments of their past lives, a hint of the world they once inhabited. The elf had always wondered about the origins of these creations and if this awakening was a glimpse into a forgotten history. However, the third and most heartwarming possibility tugged at his emotions. Shae, his only friend from the other world, could be visiting. Shae was an exceptional individual in his eyes, different from the rest of their kind. She had smaller ears and a distinctively nonmetallic body, which made her the subject of cruel teasing by others. Despite never admitting it, Shae held a special place in his heart, and he often longed for her return to their world.
The metal elf, Luthien, hurriedly got out of bed, sensing something amiss. A sudden, thunderous boom shook his entire house and workshop, driving him to rush downstairs. A heartbreaking sight met his eyes at the foot of the stairs—a melted, brittle-looking owl with visible handprints, as though someone had mishandled or subjected it to fire. The owl raised its head pitifully, and he couldn't help but speak to it."Hello there, my precious machine. I'll restore you to your former glory," he assured the wounded creature. With a heavy heart, he gently placed the owl back on the workbench in his workshop, a place reserved for only the most critical repairs. His skilled hands reached for his diamond chisel, a tool capable of efficiently handling intricate work. Utilizing ancient magic, he began the painstaking process of rebuilding the damaged owl.
